Porro
Perisic
Sarr
Son
Danjuma
Moura
Tanganga
Sanchez
All need to be involved, whether they actually start or not.
I just worry about Tanganga, Sanchez & Son starting… All seem to give the ball away too frequently for my liking…,
I’ve noticed this season that Son cannot hold the ball up, at all… plus he turns into trouble & losses the ball in his own half… this is a major worry… & just puts us under the cosh again… has anyone else noticed this??
Tanganga & Sanchez worry me…. Accidents waiting to happen… the pair of them… Keystone cop moment involved the pair of them, for Bournemouth’s 2nd goal!!
My team to start:
Forster
Romero, Dier Lenglet
Porro Sarr Holbjerg Perisic
Moura Richarlison Danjuma
Get the game won…. Then bring on 5 subs…

I agree in principle, start strong then give minutes to players if things are going well.
I think we need to start Kane though and I can’t be bothered with Lucas anymore, he is a huge downgrade on the rest of our forward line these days.
Sheff U are second in the Championship - they are basically on a par with a bottom 7/8 Prem side - wet and cold conditions under the spotlight with the media watching and hoping for an upset - start Kane, get into them early and shut their crowd up with wary goals - the. Slowly take the foot off the gas and give players a rest before Saturday

So Corbyn, I mean Poch doesn't have to win anything and is still a "success" because he bottled the CL final.
But if Conte wins an FA Cup that is still deemed not good enough for Fridgyboy! 🤣🤣🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So are Wigan better than Atletico Madrid? Are Portsmouth better than Man City? Leicester better than PSG?
My point is that big, big teams lose CL finals. If luck goes your way, even little teams can fluke an FA Cup run. Don't get me wrong, i'd be ecstatic with an FA Cup win and top four but it won't beat the level Poch had us sitting. I'm sorry you can't grasp that logic. I base my opinions on more than just silverware. Some of you throw away all of Poch's achievements on the grounds that he didn't win anything which, to my mind, shows how little you appreciate the grey areas in football. It's not your fault but you can't see the bigger picture.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s a big difference between Portsmouth, Wigan and Leicester Fridgeboy. When they won the FA cup, they didn’t have the infrastructure or groundworks we have at this club. They also weren’t regular in the CL like we have been in recent years, so it was obvious they weren’t going to push on. If Spurs win the Fa cup it’s massive. Couldn’t care what you say mate. It gets that horrible monkey off our back for one and also by getting Top 4 and potentially winning the Fa cup, I’m pretty certain Harry Kane would stay on that alone. If he can see Spurs winning trophies, he stays its as simple as that. Winning trophies for the bigger clubs breeds success, as the club would finally have that winning mentality lacking. I really don’t think you truly understand how important it is that Spurs win a trophy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I really want us to win the FA Cup as I think it would go some way to keeping Kane. You're misunderstanding my point. I only took issue with Striketeam saying that it would beat anything Poch did, not that I'm against us winning the cup. Why on earth would I do that?

I agree with him. Of all the fifth round games, this is the one that's the potential banana skin more than any other. They're second in the championship and full of confidence. Don't use the Wrexham game as a barometer of their abilities as they're better than that.
Chris Sutton has this one down as a Sheff United win in his predictions. We can't take them lightly. I'd only risk rotating heavily if we're at home.

It just seems like your attitude is “ well Wigan won the fa cup, so who cares”. Spurs winning the Fa cup will be a turning point for me. It will show the club finally have that mentality and what better way than winning the best domestic cub in English football? With the teams out this cup, I would say it’s even more important. It’s imperative we finally win a trophy.

I’m fine, I just like thinking about how happy and disappointed you have been the last couple of games and how you resolve the contradiction in your mind.
If Poch comes back after Antonio has delivered top 4 and a trophy then the pressure will be on early - 5/6th in his first season with no trophy would be a real step down and he would be under pressure early on. Some fans will love the football - others will be annoyed about the step backwards
