Formula 1 and Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a 15-year strategic partnership that will include the production of the world's first in-stadium electric karting track below the Premier League club's stadium.
The facility is due to open later this year with Formula 1 and Tottenham set to launch a new driver academy programme in view of identifying the next wave of F1 drivers.
Educational activities will be staged for schools to engage local youth in motorsport while introducing young people to potential careers in engineering and software development.

I'll admit to never having watched NASCAR but it seems so boring.
Someone watched the 400m and was like lets do that but with cars. A big oval, get them driving round it. Fantastic.

As a massive fan of F1... I think this is pretty cool. FI has exploded in popularity in the US in the past couple of years !!! I can only see this as a major commercial win ! I'm going to the 1st ever race in Vegas in Nov.... Gonna be insane !!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've got a friend over there who is a huge NASCAR fan and he's said they are kinda nervous of the impact F1 could have on their sport, think the demographics of the fans of each might be different enough to allow both to be ok?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think both sports will be fine.. NACAR is massive and you're right about the demographics... NASCAR is very much for the "Old Southern Boys" but its defo a fun experience (the crowds for the big races are nuts)..... They have a huge contract with FOX and F1 is an ESPN contract with "Drive to survive" on Netflix. The big fight will be for advertising dollars and that's why this is a smart move for Spurs.... will only help raise the profile. I would expect more and races to be held in the US and middle east going forward.... Its a sport that follows the money !!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Neither collide, they can enjoy both and both can hopefully see increased interest from each other.

NASCAR cracks me up. Its so pointless and from a country that cannot understand why European countries use roundabouts....they've made a bloody boring sport out of one 😵

There was a point in history in which united used to play kids in what they considered a joke cup
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In the earlier rounds for sure.We were also a much more dominant team at the time. Now we are like Spurs in that we aren't the top dogs and are finding our way back.
Between us we've only won 4 trophies since Sir Alex retired.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced a new groundbreaking 15-year-old partnership with Formula One, sparking speculation of a possible takeover of the club by the world’s most valuable sports empire.
Liberty Media, which is valued at $21 billion (about £17.5 billion) and owns the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball team as well as F1, is to build the first karting track under a football stadium as part of the tie-up with Spurs.
But sources have suggested that this could simply be the first step in Liberty, which bought F1 in 2017, exploring the possibility of adding a Premier League club to its sporting portfolio."
