Jamie Vardy

Given Daka's form Jamie Vardy is in the starting 11 every match now, I'm sure he isn't enjoying his football after all he's no where near a goal.

I think everyone assumed when we signed this goal scoring machine from Zambia JV would surely be restricted to cameo's from the bench and allowed to respectfully slip into retirement with his legacy enshrined in Leicester City folklore, however due to events on the pitch is his legacy at risk by being forced to carry the full burden of our front line for a whole season? How many times have you heard "he's past it, he should have retired last year" It has to be a concern to everybody.

Let's face it even Tete who looked a world beater on his debut against Villa has succumbed to the scourge affecting our undoubtly talent squad.

Daka was a very bright prospect that Leicester have ruined. Very sought after striker, showed real promise (4 goals in one match in Europe), has pace, a natural finisher and great movement.

He’s been forced to play in a team that for much of the season has created absolutely nothing and hasn’t been given the opportunity to play alongside Iheanacho. As with Musa before him his confidence is now gone and when he does play he doesn’t look the same

Vardy meanwhile is on £160k a week and has nothing left to offer at this level. He needs to retire

I think Vardy AND Daka are suffering in a team that is set up to create almost nothing.

What’s the point in being a world class striker if you never touch the ball.

I genuinely don’t think we can judge either of them fairly currently. Who knows if they’d be any hood because Rodgers is stifling anything they could ever do.

Exactly Mersey, you can't slate any players while Bodgers is in charge, even everyone's whipping boy Daniel might turn out to be Fofana in disguise.

You can absolutely judge Vardy because he was scoring 20 goals in a season under Puel where we were creating less chances than almost any other team in the PL.

The Vardy of old created chances out of virtually nothing. His goals to XG ratio was outrageous - that player has long gone. Check the stats - he doesn’t attempt shots anymore, he’s had big chances this season and missed them - he’s done at this level, virtually everyone knows that.
