Ok this is a question coming from tactical uncertainty and my general lack of knowledge when it comes to this game 😂.
So I gather that most fans during Jesse’s reign of very “narrow" football were crying out for more width on the pitch and how we set up.
So with that in mind, and seemingly having set up under Javi with more width, what is the actual plan after getting the ball wide? Are we trying to pull players wide to create more space for creativity in the middle? Or are we trying to create from wide areas?
And that goes on to creating from width….we can’t cross a dangerous ball at all. And even if we did we don’t have a target man. So are we trying to get wide and make our way to goal like the Firpo attempt last weekend?
It can become quite difficult to figure out what the identity of this team should take. And I’m pretty confused as to how we want to create the chances we need to score goals.
Thoughts?

Bielsa had a pre season to get it his way!..
Marsch had a harder deal to sort out but did it, only just but thanks that man!..
And the bod now has had 2 games and there is a difference, a couple more games then we should see more off what's to come!..

What, the way people see things?..
Or the way you see it?..

Watch Pep positional play of width to get a better understanding of it. Basically it's stretching the opposition defence horizontally to create gaps between the centre backs and fullbacks or to drag them out of position.
