If top 4 means more Conte, I'd prefer we don't make it, football is meant to be about entertaining

Conte ball can sometimes produce moments of brilliance, but as soon as that 1-0 score line pops up we start playing Cunntee ball.

I’d rather loose a game 3-2 leave everything we have on the pitch than watch a 1-0 boring win game of football.

As with regards to tonight I really am a stage of not caring about it.

You're probably right but if anyone is going to test that theory, it's Conte and his anti-football. I underestimated just how much the losses hurt when you're playing terrible football too. You've basically got nothing to hang on to. I'm not just a Spurs fan, I'm a fan of great football so when my own club holds no regard for it, it just makes me despair.

The very fact that an artist with the skill set of someone like Joao Felix, who wasted so many years being unappreciated and underused by Simeone at Atletico, is now flourishing at Chelsea, says everything. I'm no Chelsea fan but great players shouldn't be shackled like that, whoever they play for. It's not a new thing either. I resented what Jose was making Joe Cole do, making him focus on his defensive responsibilities rather than seeing him as the generational magician he was. Jose was also responsible for De Bruyne and Salah leaving Chelsea, probably for an inability to sit deep and defend. How much of what Conte is doing is stifling creativity. He couldn't find a place in his Inter team for Eriksen until injury forced him to and we've only just heard that he turned down the chance to sign Maddison in the summer. It's just a joke and I don't want it happening at my club.

To value defensive stability over magical, artistic craft to me is just insane. I can only assume these types of people are just in love with winning, not football itself. Give me the Cruyff philosophy all day long.

I'm at the point where I just want us to win first then we can play pretty football later.

Everyone loves the beautiful game, that's why it is so popular but we have a 'history' of being entertainers and it has not yielded as many trophies as other teams.

I don't get the whole "I would rather we were rubbish but playing well" line because as soon as we lose 4 or 5 games, the knives will be out and it's back to square one.

Do I like Conte's style? No but it is another apsect of the game and although boring on the eye it is more like a game of chess which I can appreciate. Do I love it? Hell no but I am prepared to give it a go if the results go our way.

But at the end of the day, if Conte continues to make dodgy decisions than lead to more losses and the top 4 becomes out of our reach then he can do one. No problem with that.

Curious as to what you're seeing that makes you think we're any close to winning games and trophies playing the way we are.

As far as I'm concerned, and I know most that want Conte out agree with me, we're inconsistent, lose games we shouldn't and are so much further away from success than we ever were under Poch so what it is that you're seeing that makes you think we're closer to 'winning' now.

What baffles me is the way we played last season under Conte to how we are playing this season. We blew away most teams and were fun to watch most of the time . This season we look a team of individuals and are boring as hell.

As far as I can see top 4 is still on. Although the feeling right now that's not possible, there is still a huge chance.

Yeah winning trophies this season ain't happening but top 4 should always be the bare minimum target at the end of the season.

Losing Bentancur is huge and people forget than but top 4 is on. No need to disrupt anything. Conte's absense has not helped either.

Lets see where we go. I'm sure he will be here until May unless we lose 4 or 5 games on the bounce or top 4 is not possible.

I Have bad feeling about tonight.. I fear we might lose a tight game `1-0 or 2-1. I think Liverpool will beat us to 4th and I suspect Conte won't finish the season at Spurs. I suspect Poch will be in place before the end of the season and that will be Levy's plan to have Poch sell a new project/rebuild/contract to Kane before the summer "silly season" starts

I am never hopeful before any game but COYS

lets hope the players bother to turn up today too regardless of Conte Ball and take the initiative when and where they can..... COYS COYS COYS.
