VR is great for shooters. putting you in the middle of pitched battles, is a whole new way to experience such games. The PSVR2 controllers are great, lightweight, excellent tracking, and haptic feedback making the immersion feel even more real.
One thing that can feel a bit strange is holding a two handed weapon. It isn't really a problem, but holding your one hand in front of the other is not ideal.
VR is all about immersion anything that adds to that is only going to add to the VR experience.This is where this gun stock comes in, an ingenious design, that allows you to do all the things you want to with the controller, like reloading, using the weapon one handed, but also giving you the correct feel of holding a two handed weapon.

first of all thank you for taking off the filter.
Secondly I am the resident sim racer you referred to a couple of times.
Thirdly for FPS shooting this is a fair bit behind what people are looking for now. FPS is more based on movement and beating your opponent that way rather than with gun skill.
Fourthly after using the PSVR2 i was very impressed with it. its a good upgrade on the original, the movement controllers are a much needed improvement cos the previous one wasnt great.
Fifthly for GT7 PSVR2 is awesome. it feels like a totally new game, its one of the best VR racing setup iv ever used (my good mate owns a VR racing shop - VR Simulators in Glasgow and has another in Leeds)
in terms of playing single player mode its incredible, I wouldnt use it for competitive races however as you would be at a disadvantage, and the pro's wont use it for that reason.
I havent used it for other games only GT7, but it was a marked improvement on the previous headset

I have actually used it for other games but it was very brief and no games I could compare with the previous VR headset or compare to playing without it FWIW.
