Who’s going down

Who do you reckon?

I still think Bournemouth and Leeds will def drop and would then likely go Southampton - however, West Ham, Leicester and Forest are starting to look very schitt.

Everton have made a brilliant appointment in Dyche - attritional football is his bread and butter and I reckon he is pound for pound the best at it these days.

Rodgers surely has to go - Leicester are sleep walking towards oblivion. Forest are completely reliant on home form now.

The Hammers have a huge game tomorrow - they shouldn’t be in the relegation zone with the squad that they have but Moyes, Rice and Bowen have been woeful this season and they have the added issue of European distraction.

Best Relegation battle I can remember to be honest with teams looking dead one week only to pull off massively unlikely wins the next.

If I had to call it at the moment, I'd say the bottom 8 might be:

Wolves
Everton
West Ham
Forest
Leicester
-----
Leeds
Bournemouth
Southampton

I think it will be a very low points total needed to survive this season. The bottom 8 are woeful at the moment and I think Forest look like they are on a downward slide. Southampton look gone and Bournemouth look poor.

I think it will be Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth but would love Everton to finally drop - if only to stick one on my neighbour who’s been saying Leeds are going down since we came up.

It won't be a low total, simply because there are too many games between the bottom clubs - plus the clubs are already close to the 28 points Fulham went down with as 3rd from bottom club 2 years back.

Leeds will disappoint a lot on here. We're playing better than most of the bottom half just haven't won a facking game.
Still confident the wins will come. The goal differential is much better than last year.
Stuck with marsch for about 18 months too long.

I thought that till recently. I still think Saints and Bournemouth will go down. That third spot is so hard to call. Leeds or Leicester could very well take it. Forest seem to have a bit more fight than Leicester. The Leeds v Forest game could be massive. Leeds have the likes of Gnonto, Harrison etc who produce in fits and starts, but maybe Forest have more consistent match-winners in Johnson and even Gibbs-White.

I think goal difference might just save at least one of Leeds, Leicester and West Ham. Not many seasons do we have three teams in the bottom five on -11 -10 and -9 at this stage.

Leeds also have a huge April with three home games on the bounce - Forest, Palace and Liverpool with Leicester later that month.

Huge month for us that will determine our future in the
PL.

Strikemug, I don't call you a mug if West Ham dropped into the championship. If not, will leave this site?

Can Crystal Palace stay up without scoring a single goal for the rest of the season? That's the task ahead of them.
