We’re looking strangely comfortable in 4th

Nani burst into the box close to the byeline and seemed to be impeded by Younes Kaboul. The United winger hit the deck and instinctively grabbed at the ball as he lay on the floor, waiting for Clattenburg to award a penalty. He didn’t and Nani rolled over in disgust.

The referee either didn’t see Nani’s handball or chose to ignore it as Spurs keeper Heurelho Gomes had possession and the chance to launch a Tottenham counter-attack.

But Gomes then rolled the ball in front of him and looked at Clattenburg who had his arms outstretched as if to say ‘What are you waiting for?’
................
Clattenburg gifted Spurs a chance to keep it 1-0 and then gets blamed for helping Man Utd lol. Kaboul if I remember correctly just took Nani out so much Nani caught the ball with his hand expecting a penalty as it was so clear.

The ref didn't give the handball as he knew it was a penalty before so was making sure he didn't give handball as the penalty was so clear before it. Oh well I give up.

I don't think Man Utd will win another league title ever again. Every year we are in the title race we get robbed so many points we get dragged into a top 4 race. We need a side good enough to get 114 points just to get to around 90 points these days.

Mate, you really are wasting your time with your countless "we was robbed" articles, particularly on the Spurs board. Frankly you are not convincing anyone with your constant narrative. Literally everyone knows you have to beat both Utd and the officials every time you play Utd, particularly at OT.
Spurs fans will never, for example, forget the ghost 'goal' not given at OT when Carroll pulled the ball back from 4 foot into the net and the ref didn't give the goal. Even without goal line tech, it was the most bent decision you ever witnessed.
Then there is the 35/40 penalties you lot got over a two year period recently. Christ, you even have a player everyone else calls Pernandes !!
Just stop the pointless bleating eh ?

As I remember it, the goal you refer to was scored from the halfway line by one of our much maligned Brazilian players.
And the reason Carroll got away with the cheat was that the linesman couldn't run fast enough from halfway to goal line.
Can you name that player who scored?.

Pedro Mendes.

I find the bleating of Man Utd fans rather amusing, and ridiculous. Everybody knows they (like Pool) play with 13 men most weeks, for example look at the amount of red cards they are let off with, this season alone McTominay, Casemiro, Sabitzer have been let off with clear red cards, thankfully Casemiro has got what he deserves of late, but that is just a drop in the ocean of mass United bias that is seen almost every week.

Look at the gifted penalties they were being given under Ole, some were even given for fouls by the United player on the defender. It look some moaning from Klopp for it to stop, which then saw results drop and Ole sacked. They finished 2nd that year, and it was purely down to refereeing bias.

Everybody knows Penited & Varpool are dragged up the league every year by "benefit of doubt" officiating.

As it happens he was portugese

TV companies not going to fall over themselves to show FA or League cups, but as soon as you mention CL they will!
That's where the best players/managers operate at.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

If the best players operate there why do we need new defenders? Dier, Davies etc etc have all operated at CL level.
