Yes who are these left backs?

Can not think.of any that are as good going forward or sound defensively. Can not think of any left back as all round as robbo.

Closest is poss ashley cole but his attacking stats no way as good as robbos

The last two play quite a different role to Robertson though. A lot more focus on the defensive side.

Roberston will be up there in the mix by the time he finishes his career through, I have no doubt. What an absolute bargain.

I agree that Klopp has tried to evolve but the players have not responded. One of the reasons why Benzema was left on his own for the goal was because Konate was probably told to double up on Vini to help Trent and that left a gaping gap between him and VVD.

Because Trent is a liability defensively so much of the well oiled machine has to overwork in other areas.

That was my point yesterday.

Managers like Ancelotti are too experienced and knew how to exploit our weakness.

The top teams now play with 3 center backs and one inverted fullback. We try this with Fabinho as the one who drops and forms a back three and Trent coming inside but it doesn't work.

Even facking Newcastle play with Burn as the third center back who can play fullback.

Did someone just compare Robertson, the defender with the most assists in PL history, to Winterburn, Baines and Riise? 😂😂😂

Riise is one of my favourite ever Liverpool players but that is delusion
