Charlie Cresswell/Cody Drameh

Charlie Apparantly going from strength to strength at Millwall, 9 out of 10 performance and an assist against Swansea. Had Carroll completely in his pocket against Reading at the weekend.
Will be feckin livid if Orta is complicit in letting him go at the end of the season.
Also Cody had an assist for Luton tonight.
Luton and Millwall both having great seasons, Cody and Charlie instrumental in this.

I'll be livid if Orta tries to sell them both.

Hopefully, Orta goes at the end of the season.
And whoever the 49ers appoint as the new DOF
retains both players. Especially if we're in the
Championship.

Batty, from what I read, Charlie, is highly unlikely to want to move on. His father's history means that, though he wasn't born in Leeds, he is a Leeds boy through and through. His contract runs until 2025. I genuinely think he will play for England, he is that good.
I believe that we should never have signed RK, complete waste of money. In Ayling and Drameh we had more than enough and I think the fact that Kristiensen was one of Marsch's boys led him to favour him over Cody. Over and over Drameh wasn't named in the matchday squad when he should have been. I feel that Drameh would have been our first choice right back by now had we had a decent coach.
I am concerned that Drameh's contract only runs until July 2024. Should we get relegated, especially as the club has shown little belief in him, I would expect him to be looking at moving on. I am sure there will be plenty of Premier League clubs sniffing around.

Cresswell has been in and out of the millwall side this season. There are mitigating circumstances for that but his form has been up and down as to be expected of a young lad playing man’s football. Playing well at the moment though, I’m told.

I like Drameh as a player though he’s yet to show anything at First team level for us on his rare outings. The club fell out with him over the Cardiff move last year. In hindsight Rasmus looks like a poor signing, but at the time Ayling was a longish term injury and the Drameh situation wasn’t clear.

It’s known the club want to keep Drameh… and Donn tells us it’s was Radz who was trying to cash in on Charlie.

It’s also always worth remembering it’s a world of difference as a defender against championship opposition. The most sought after right back in the championship last season was DJed Spence… this season: 6 months on spurs’ bench and is currently having a torrid time in France on loan.

Personally I think the loan deals were the right call for both players, it’s unfortunate that Codey hasn’t been tied down to a longer deal.

We signed Monteiro in Jan, Id think he's a replacement for Cresswell or Hjelde. Haven't seen anything in Drameh at all, think he's found his level. Both will be useful next season if we get relegated.
