Unsure if anyone else is in place to come in, but seems the right decision.
Conte gone?

They never went for Redknapp or Big Sam didn't last long

Yeah because of tax dodging and bungs.
But that doesn’t answer the question.

It's more to do with the image of the manager. Someone without skeletons in their closest and it not outspoken. Having a column in a daily rag for example.
The FA want a stiff as a manager

Well yeah, that’s because the role of England manager is essentially a political role and we even facking hold them to higher standards than the pm. We need someone to be a decent representative of the country.
Don’t really see how that ties in with this whole yes man ballacks. You’re more likely to lose your job as England manager because of the media than you are results on the pitch given what a disgrace they are in this country.
That’s just the reality of the England job. It’s unique in that respect, no other country has the same importance place upon it like we do in a stately manner.

Fack it, let's get Bielsa in. He'd have the caants running around

I’d pay good money to watch Eric Dier play under Bielsa.

TBF he'd probably be the only one that'd struggle with it. Obvs Ndombele would have a heart attack but I'm not sure that matters at this point
