Conte’s Compensation.

If the comp package is that high, it's because Levy had to agree to it to get the manager he wanted. There's no way he over looked a detail that important.

Conte was in demand and highly thought of so I'm not surprised if the amounts quoted are true.

Levy's should have added a "if you are a twaaaaat, we get £10m back clause".....

Yep, there is some truth to what he said but the funny part is that he didn't even recognise that it's his job to change a lot of what he criticised. In short, he's as much, if not more to blame than anyone else.

I do not want that toxic fraud anywhere near us again. If you think that it was a good thing on account of the fact that he mildly gave it to the ownership then you must be very shortsighted, Spurtle. If it was about Levy and wholly justified, why then has he pulled this stunt everywhere he's been? I'll tell you why. It's because the man can't take criticism and likes to deflect to keep up a reputation. The only part, for me, that Levy is ultimately responsible for in this shiiitshow, is employing that little turrrd in the first place. That's where his errors are. It's his decisions, not how much money he puts up.

You have to wonder how many more times he can pull this trick? Very high risk, soon as he stops being able to instantly improve teams he becomes effectively unemployable.

Gunna have to chose his next job wisely. Can't really afford to fail after this one.

Well ok, it didn't go down well with all fans but there has been quite a few grateful for him telling it as it is.

I'm not advocating we keep him beyond the end of the season but without a new manager in place and facing the likelihood of paying out compensation and Mason taking over, I'd rather just stick with Conte.

I mean maybe Mason takes over and we do really well. If he doesn't and we finish outside the top 4, it's going to look like a poor decision to have got rid of Conte when we did.

Makes sense. I'm not on board with Mason getting it either but this stuff about a big payoff seems like pure clickbait. We pay up his contract and he's done.

Personally I think Levy has to sack him though, even if it does mean Mason ruins the rest of the season. What a precedent to set you can do a bunch of interviews like that and keep your job.

I think due to his outburst our bunch of pansies have zero chance of top 4 with him as manager as he hurt their poor little feelings most likely ….imagine your boss saying those things to you or about you ? Would you then give your all for him ?

The fact he was right won’t matter to them they are probably seething and won’t play for him

I think we have more of a chance of top 4 with anyone but conte cos of this

😂…..player lies in interview shock horror and just says the go to response given to him ….what else they gonna do while he is manager?

And what Doherty thinks matters? He was released by the club and plays for someone else

If you think the squad like being called out by what conte said then go ahead …he was right but they won’t like it , especially our lot
