Well it seems like Ronnie is having another pop at snooker. Whilst it's not perfect (which sport is perfectly run?), is it in such a terrible place? Comparing it to golf or tennis just isn't realistic.
I also have empathy for Dawson's comments that Ronnie doesn't promote the game well like other sportsmen in other sports.
I tend to just ignore Ronnie's post-match interviews, because they are often negative or just sound a bit moany. But when he talks about the sport as a whole, I don't think he helps matters at all.
He feels he has carried the sport for the past 20-30 years. Yes, he is the most popular player out there, but just as after Alex Higgins and Jimmy White, snooker will carry on when Ronnie retires. As much as he criticises the game, I actually feel Ronnie will really miss snooker when he does give up the game.

I feel it was telling that Ronnie apparently never attends players meetings or raises concerns internally. You need to do that first before going to the Metro newspaper 😂

Ronnie is right what he says, but he could do more to help the sport for sure. Talking less shiete in his interviews would be a good start
