Gnonto

Notice that Wilf was withdrawn after 22 minutes against Malta today. Italy were 1-0 up at the time.

Gnonto has a sprain which could rule him out of the Arsenal game

Not too bothered about the Arsenal game, pray he and Wober are back for Forest though.

I know Lorra but like moths to a flame we keep reading the rubbish although this morning apparently Newsnow has reported Wober's injury is not as bad as they feared so he could be alright for Saturday... fingers crossed that is true and we hear equally good news regarding Gnonto later today.

Just goes to show how vital squad depth is and how neglecting it is costly at this level. We still have Harrison AND Sinisterra to play wide left in Gnonto's absence

Forest game is the important one, id have rested Gnonto for that any way.

Just goes to show how crap International games are, in our position we can't afford to lose our best players, at the moment we're not doing bad with injuries but if these turn out long turm it could be very damaging!..

Biela's problem was so many long term injuries, Gracia's problem might be injuries to top players with not enough games left to play!..

Bielsa wanted as much depth as a toddlers paddling pool and got found out subsequently. The depth we have now in the squad is how we should have been under Bielsa. Doesn't help when either regime goes into a season with injury prone players mind; Forshaw, Bamford, Firpo, Cooper.

Shaun, I was saying how it was with Bielsa and how it could be with Gracia!..

Bielsa had lots off long term injuries, knacked him up something rotten!..

The last couple off months or so we've had 3 long term,(a lot less than what Bielsa had!)but Archie is now back and hopefully stays fit!..

Adams, not long injured but hopefully doesn't stay out to long!..

Because off these internationals, we have Gnonto and Wöber coming back injured, but at the moment nobody's letting on what's what with Wöber!..

Wöber, Gnonto and Adams are 3 off our now main stay players, and some will argue 3 off the better, so, in future stuff the internationals and let our players eat from the plate that feeds them!..

Shit internationals, but that's a problem everybody has!..

Firpo has now played 43 games for us and starts most weeks. He was available for quite a few games prior to Marsch's dismissal. Not sure you can count him as injury prone and possibly the stop start nature of his first season with us didn't help.
I would certainly add Sinisterra to the list of fragile players.

Sini definitely added to that list. Firpo seems to have shaken off his ailments.

What the fu©k do we have to do to get our first eleven out on the pitch? It just never happens.
