How do people think we will do under Stellini and Mason.
It seemed that when Conte was absent before, the players stepped up, they took a bit of responsibility, we were a bit more front foot, a little bit more freedom.
While the players will respect Stellini, will they take matters into their hands to a degree, knowing that 1. He aint as full-on as Conte 2. He's effectively powerless.
It is a potential worry that with a dead-duck manager the players may lose discipline. If you know the boss wont be there next term then their position is massively undermined.
It comes down to the professionalism and respect of the players. Thankfully i think we have a good group in this respect, not too many trouble makers or shirkers who will see this as an excuse to switch off, lead by Kane who is the consummate professional . He could think, I'll be gone next season so wont bother, and you can image if someone like Berbatov was leading the line that it would be a disaster, but i think Kane has enough professionalism and loyalty to continue to give his all and demand that from the rest - PEH, Lloris, Dier, Skipp will all be of a similar mindset
Everton away next game, that will now be a massive challenge as they are are now very focussed on what they need to do and have a set way of playing which will be in our face and total commitment from Spurs players if we are to get anything out of that game.
Not sure if people notice but when Conte subbed Deki for Sanchez vs Milan, Mason was incredulous on the side line. I think he will have been frustrated with the negative approach to games and if he is having a bit more say, maybe we can expect a bit more attacking intent, intensity and positivity.
ps. This isnt an invite to vent your spleen about the ownership etc blah blah, go somewhere else if you want to do that, there's plenty of options

433 with a midfield of Bentancur Bissouma and Maddison behind a front 3 would be really very strong.
backed up by Skipp PEH and Sarr (i think this kid has a lot of potential to be a dynamic CM with an eye to move the ball on quickly and forward).
Young full backs bombing on. Just need a top quality CB and a decent back up to anchor behind.
I dont think we are far off a very competitive squad and for all Conte's moaning he has not made the best use of what he has had at his disposal.

you know i had completely forgotten about Bissouma. Injured now yes, but even before then never given a chance to settle in the side.
Criminal by Conte IMO. at £25m he was an excellent signing and offered more than PEH in every department.

I thing PEH has his place in the squad…limited yeah but he can pull a pass out out now and then and he has a good attitude on him
If we were to play 3 in midfield , him, Bentencur and bissouma is strong on paper
Porro and udogie (suppose to be good but never seen him) down the flanks ….Kane, Kulusevski, Son , Richarlson ….what’s not to like
Not even including if someone can get ndombele or le celso happy and playing along with regullion( I still rate him) ….it’s not bad at all

I forgot about Sarr and skipp …Sarr looks a good player and skipp is a solid squad player
The squad isn’t that bad and that’s not with rose tinted glasses either
We just need an attacking coach as we have attack minded players who have been told to play defensively

I do not know of one Spurs fan that will defend Levy's approach to the football side of things. Business yes he has built the stadium, training ground etc. and financially we are stable but football wise I think he is crap and so does every other fan I know.
Out of all the managers he has appointed only 3 of them were okay the rest were dreadful. He should have feck all to do with the football side of the club at all and every fan I know says the same.
We just dont need to say it 1000 times a fecking day

Take a look over on not606, there are plenty of ENIC lovers on there, they won`t have a bad word said about Levy. They are either stupid, deluded or cut from the same cloth as Levy & Lewis. Some of them are completely staunch in their support of ENIC.

It’s all to do with the players . To play good football and entertain you need good players. if I wasn’t a fan there is barely one of those players I would pay to watch.
I want to see players that play with passion and most importantly with flair, invention, trickery which this team lacks in abundance.
Contes departure will make zero difference!
End of season can’t come soon enough for me.

The issue we have had is the set up and conte completely stifling them
Even Richarlson is loads better than what we have seen and Bentencur (injured I know) has flair
Going forward is where our strengths are and conte decided to forget that and play some sitting back soak up footy ……I’m hoping we start playing a few yards further up the pitch as a unit

Conte's set up has also deprived us of any creativity in a CM position. Bentancur is quality and plays forward and with his head up but usually from deep.
Watching England play the other day it was enjoyable to see their defenders or CM/DM picking a ball through the lines to Maddison in the hole. Spurs simply do not have that option (and very few who can thread that pass either). Its been so one dimensional ive even toyed in my mind with the merits of having NDombele back and playing in that hole role.

We lack natural technicians like many of our rivals have and our off the ball work has been shiite for years. if you want free flowing football then we need more creativity in the team with good technicians and the ability to play in tight spaces and play out from the back.
The modern game demands you to be press resistant and many in our team is clearly not.
The moment anyone closes down the space near this lot the ball is invariably given away..

Its the modern-day inability of people to understand a range of views and simply resorting to pigeon-holing into 2 extremes....either with us or against us.
What i find amusing is that in these sorts of debates, those who perceive themselves to be standing for the the "good side" - remainers, anti-Tory, anti-ENIC - are often the most polarised, the most blinkered, and more likely to throw abuse and insults about.
I've been called all sorts of insults by the anti-ENIC lot but don't really see the opposite happening. It makes one question, even more, the credibility of their arguments if they are so blinkered, so black and white in their views
