Just gave himself a £500k pay rise aswell - FOR WHAT????

Levy is an excellent chairman. Delivered a world class stadium. Invested £300m on the squad in the last two years. Hired an elite serial winner as head coach.

The problem at Spurs is, and always has been, their deluded fan base and the ridiculous expectations.

He didn’t invest £300m, the club earns that money - he decided to use profits generated by the club to invest into playing staff.

He decided to use future profit to indebt the club for a new stadium

He decided as the chairman to fire Poch who had just taken us to a CL final and 4th place after becoming the first and only club to not buy a player the previous summer.

And most us deluded Spurs fans have seen our club win multiple trophies in our lifetime - I’ve seen 6 - but only 1 in the last 23 years. Even when we were comparably rubbish we could be relied upon to win a trophy a decade - these days it’s a miracle if we get past the FA cup 5th round
