Crewe have had a rough time recently having met a series of teams who are well placed in the league or in very good form. They have not won away from home for 9 matches, but they have not been badly beaten and have achieved draws against some good teams.
So their results and current position in the league is misleading and they seem likely to provide stern opposition. In their last away match they held their own away to Gillingham who are one of the form teams at the moment.
The Rovers players are largely part-time in their application and they seem to lack the confidence to even get close enough to the goal before they shoot. Even players like Rowe have had the drive “coached" out of them thanks to the “process" (of demolition). Seaman hasn’t had enough starts to have his enthusiasm suppressed yet, but no doubt it will come. The Brighton Miller also looked uncharacteristically keen as well and perhaps, like Barlow and Faulkner this is why he isn’t allowed to play very often.
Doncaster Rovers are not themselves any more, they are Schofield’s Shamblers.
The way they play shows no sign of changing and they have lost my support.
Perhaps they will get thrashed by some lowly team and the Board will have no alternative but to get rid of the man.
So 0-3 to Crewe.

Perhaps Schofield should have characterised his time at Rovers as like the London Tube. Mostly All down and in the dark.

As usual, Schofield does not seem to be able to explain what exactly did go wrong and how the team allowed it to happen.
How can the people who run the club retain faith in his leadership? Is anyone actively running the club? What does Coppinger do when Schofield seems to be bungling?
If Schofield goes, can Copps retain his job?

The original selection and formation for the team seemed totally bizarre! I'm sure it did to the players too. He's lost his way completely and by indications the dressing room too. We'll survive in League 2 by the skin of our teeth at this rate. Let's hope the Board act quickly. Copps position was always a sentimental one rather than a sensible one. Can our board be tough enough? They need to be and soon.

The Doncaster Rovers we all know and love , is being erased, bit by bit. The whole lot, from top to bottom, need removing. That includes Copps, as a hell of a lot of fans are now turning on him too, asking why? What do you do? Are you actually bothered? 🤔
DS has been found out, as a manager who is obsessed with playing the ball out from the back, something that is obvious even to a blind man, we haven't got the players to play that way. Unfortunately, he will not change his stubborn ways, so I predict we will not win another game this season.
The crowds are down to around, 3000/3500, dont be fooled by what they say as the season ticket holders are voting with their feet, but they're still counted.
Like most fans at the game yesterday, we were all saying the same thing, this is the worst team that has ever played in this stadium. Are they actually bothered about trying to win, or just not playing for DS.
If we carry on as we are next season, I'm afraid we could be following Scunny, it's that toxic.
This will be the lowest we have finished in 20yrs, yet there are some fans still backing this board, these are the ones who are the problem, until the fans stand together, we will see something I've never seen in 50yrs of following Donny, happen again. Our own fans fighting in the stands against each other.
Shame on them all, Bramall, Blunt, Baldwin, Schofield, Coppinger, even the players, for all the good and great that John Ryan did for this club, it is now being thrown in the lake.

Good to hear from you BVZ even if it is in these sad times.
It surely cannot go on much longer. In the last 20 years even Dickov did not sink so low in people’s estimation.
The way forward is not clear though. I wonder if Copps position will be impossible if Schofield is sacked. Would an experienced manager work with Copps?
Schofield’s approach is badly misguided and his tunnel vision means that he will be unable to change. In fact I suspect that the “Process” taken from his coaching is the only string to his bow.
Mr Blunt either has a very thick skin or is frozen in fear. Baldwin seems to have recused himself for some reason and Terry B must be wondering how long he can endure being the paymaster with the inmates in charge of the asylum.

I wonder if Kevin Keegan would be interested in a managerial comeback? He's currently earning £10000per time for after dinner speaking so he wouldn't be cheap. But a far better Donny boy pick than Schofield. 😂

Perhaps he could buy the club instead

It is indeed very sad days. I've never felt so depressed about the Rovers, even compared to dropping out the League. At least then you could see John Ryan was passionate about the Club and set a plan for the future, Of course there was no iFollow for me to watch how bad they were!
As a true Yorkshireman (like a Scotsman but with all the generosity squeezed out) I hate to waste money, but I'm not watching the full games these days despite having paid for the season. On Saturday I watched Brighton vs. Brentford instead, a very entertaining 3-3 for a "neutral" (OK, I've never been a fan of Brighton, but even less so of Brentford).
Chelsea and Leicester have both fired their managers at this stage in the season, how about doing the same, Doncaster Rovers Board?
