Odd seeing as he's your next manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I will be changing the title to “you’re a khunt Graham” at that point

Can Spurs be Potter's resurrection stone?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, he can faaaack off
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He has lost a bit of his appeal but I guess I'd still have him in a top 5 or 6 list.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just think we’re the wrong club for him - I could never see him working well with Levy and the confines he places on a manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On the contrary, he is the sort of man Levy would like, in that he's a yes man who won't rock the boat in anything he says or does. It's all a matter of if he's actually good enough to get Spurs in contention for the top prizes and that is obviously a much bigger question now after what's happened with Chelsea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can tell you now - he won’t
And that’s exactly what I mean by not being the right fit - he will just do what Levy demands and we won’t get anywhere.
We need someone who can succeed in impossible circumstances - Ethan Hunt style
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well we know the big spending managers with a CV of winning things haven't fared well with us so far, so in that respect Potter is a good fit but at the same time he'd be coming from a top club where he looked very out of his depth.

Levy will back any incoming manager but history shows we get it wrong more than right. This is our main problem.

We’re finally going to get a decision correct and appoint Arne Slot - that’s what our ITK’s are saying - I know I know. Slot is the dream choice, the under the radar top manager in the making that plays rolls Royce football and (very soon) wins schitt.
Potter is not even close to a good fit for us - he looked great at Brighton because they have arguably the best back room set up in the league - Steve Kean could get it right there. As soon as had big ego players he fell to bits, we’re far more like Chelsea than Brighton

I know little about Slot and haven't seen his team play so I'll take your word for it if he plays attractive football. There isn't much to go on in terms of his managerial CV, we're judging strictly based on what he's doing in a poor league so not sure what to say about that one.

Regarding Slot, here’s a decent phone by someone that knows a little about him….

The bit that would concern me is when the guy said he’s more gung-ho than Pep. I’m all for attractive football but not if we’re going to get easily turned over every week. It’s one thing doing it in the Dutch League and another in the Prem.
Remember, when it comes to attractive front foot football, there’s Pep and then there’s Ossie Ardiles and we don’t want those days back.
I guess they all come with risk. It would be an interesting choice and I’d certainly prefer him to Luis Enrique. To be honest, given JN is practically off the table, I’d be happy with one of Poch, Potter, Slot or Rodgers. They all play the right way.

Fortunately for us we’ll have every single manager Spurs hire in their hunt for a trophy to keep the good times rolling

no just shows how much they've both messed things up.
If I went to a restaurant and the waiter dropped a glass of water, no issue, if the cutlery was a bit dirty no issue. But if he chucked a glass at the wall, punched me in the face, spat in my food and shat on the floor he would rightly be sacked.
