Welcome back no negativity after a win
A good performance and one that was needed and the manager dropping Wout shows he's not above changing things instead of sticking with the tried and tested.
Hopefully we batter Everton on Saturday and get the season back on track again.
Another shout for Rashford!
Been a while..

He'd get into City's over Grealish/Foden, this season...
Arsenal is a bit tougher, as they obviously wouldn't rock the boat right now.

See I'd tend to disagree with that.
While he scores far more goals than those two, I'm not sure Pep would be mad about him especially with Haaland in the team.
The other 2 are much better at keeping the ball and probably have better decision making skills too.

Not necessarily.
I wouldn't swap him for Foden, Grealish or Martinelli and I highly doubt ETH would either but I'd argue those players suit playing in a dominant established team more than Rashford does.

"I get what you're saying but as long as he's contributing goals and assists from out wide like he's doing then I can live with that."
This is my big thing with Rashford, his goals and good play have mostly come from playing up front. Either starting there or moving there after 60 mins (since the WC).
I think having Martial up top will help bring more out of him from the left, but that isn't where his goals or good form has come from imo.
For me Rashford is a striker. He has been most effective in and around the box this season, that's where he comes alive. He's also very good at holding his position, unlike a lot of strikers you see wondering around trying to get more involved, he's happy to wait for his chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Having a proper CF and Rashford nominally from the left would offer us more of a goal threat. As you say Rashford has scored a lot from the CF position but I think playing wide gives him more freedom to roam too. We need more goalscorers in the team. If we had Kane, or someone similar, I think we'd score a lot more as a team too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Definitely agree with that. With a better CF I think that Rashford would score more from the left than he has done this season. Let Garnacho be backup on the left and push Rashford into the middle if needed/for specific games.

Interesting... I could see Sabitizer was playing high up the pitch, but that really shows just how high!

The thing with Sabitzer is he can get up and down OK, but he’ll do it without the ball. He can play a bit at eight and at six, but he isn’t going to do a lot in the offensive transition.
The reason we haven’t seen anything of Casemiro and Sabitzer is that Sab isn’t any kind of ball carrier. The same way Casemiro wants one next to him, so does Sabitzer.
It’s why ETH will play McT or Fred with Casemiro before Sabitzer.

Gealish doubtful. Every pundit agrees Grealish is a beast this season, also a different player in a different position than rashford.

It can be argued all day, that's why I said "get into ***pretty much*** any first XI in the world"
Even the ones that are debatable are far from cut and dry cases.
