Wolves v Chelsea

Date: Saturday 8th April
Kickoff: 3pm
Venue: Molineux stadium

Live @ https://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewLiveArticle/453483

So Todd Boehly has turned to Chelsea legend "super Frankie" Lampard to attempt to turn around their fortunes and secure a champions league position through either an unlikely top 4 finish or equally unlikely champions league win. This is the same Fat Frank that was sacked by Everton a few weeks ago for being rubbish by the way.

Wolves come in to the game in poor form however and despite a good run after his appointment Julen Lopetegui is struggling to find his best formation and player combinations. The last few games have also been fractious and undisciplined affairs with red cards, touch line bust ups and other quite disgusting accusations levelled at our players.

Bizarrely a win for Wolves could put them one place below Chelsea in the table, a defeat could equally see them in the bottom three. Crazy times.

Goldi's prediction 1-0

I dunno I still don't rank it as highly as Mick's achievements I guess it's down to individual preferences

Yes. All down to individual agendas. 😂

I remember those days Goldi and in 1982 the club was saved from liquidation at the last minute when it was purchased by a consortium fronted by former player Derek Dougan. We plummeted in successive season to Division 4.

Just to inform our resident Cretin. We were not 'head and shoulders' above the rest. In fact we only reached the play offs our first season in the old 4th Division, losing to Aldershot. It was only over the next two seasons that we got to the 2nd Division.

Obviously I was referring to the size and status of the club when making that statement witless, rather than the playing staff at the time. What would be our more natural league position and the expectations of the fans.

I didn’t literally mean our players were a foot taller than the other players in Division Four

Just as Cinci didn’t mean our players were going out running around on their knees every week. We wouldn’t have won many headers in the box!

We are a lower top tier/upper second tier club. Turner got us back to where we SHOULD be.

Now let that sink in.

I can't believe we have to break it down so much for sunny to catch on

I still don’t think it’s actually sunk in yet Tino! 😂
