Aguero’s record is ridiculous. He has 20 in 22.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If I played for City, etc., etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

At all surprised he never went to Madrid from City, in his prime, ioag? I was. Maybe I was just hoping you’d take him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doubt he wanted to sit on the bench and watch Ronaldo and Benzema destroy teams.

That’s a point. Never thought Benzema would outlast Ronaldo there either.

He would never have played for City if Atleti hadn't refused to sell him to us when we'd decided to table his release clause.

In theory they couldn't refuse - but they argued there was a tax-related issue that they'd drag through the courts for years if Agüero insisted on joining us.

Tbf I did forget to account for about 15 of Aguero’s matches coming against opponents from League Two and below.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ha, good shout.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The same with Rush. They only won the FA Cup three times during their dominant years.

Notts County's Harry Cursham has scored the most goals in the FA Cup, with 49 goals in 44 appearances from 1877 to 1891. Cursham has held the record continuously since 1887. The closest anyone has come to breaking this long-standing record was Ian Rush, who scored 44 FA Cup goals in his career, from 1979 to 1998.

I demand a recount.

Someone must’ve clocked him.

Ah, never knew that. Stupid facking tax laws, we would’ve been denied the Agueeeero moment, that should never be spoken about.
