Son Heung Min

100 PL goals for Son today, which is a great achievement in anybody`s book.

He`s taken a lot of stick for his performances this season, but he is still a fine player and he scored a fantastic goal today.

Well done Sonny and he is now just 1 goal behind Jermain Defoe on the all time Spurs goal scorers list, which will take him to 6th place.

WOW…. Just seen match of the day… how on earth did we win that game… Brighton were miles better than us… Brighton we’re definitely robbed… thanks to Stuart Attwell…
Talk about papering over the cracks… just not good enough!!

Makes up for being robbed away at Southampton doesn`t it, and it`s all the sweeter for the way that mug De Zerbi behaved

Talk of Son being sold is a bit silly at this time. This is his worst season since his debut season, coming after his best ever season. Are we really just going to sell him at the first sign of trouble when he is still in his peak years and before he gets to play under a new manager with a, hopefully, different style?

Not to mention the long list of more important business to be done - new manager, potential new replacements for Kane, new CB or 2, another creative mid, new keeper, and all the rubbish that needs moving on, in many cases long overdue.

I agree there are much higher priorities. But I think this is the last summer to get a worthwhile fee for him and I reckon his decline will be sharp

From a physical point of view there should be no reason he starts to decline rapidly right now at age 30. He sort of proved this by having his best ever season a year ago. It's not like there have been any major injuries recently either. What's happened with him this season must be more for mental reasons and to do with the coaching/tactical side of spurs.

Maybe we won't see the best of him again from this point onwards and maybe this season is a blip and we see a much better version next season. I think either scenario is just as likely as the other.

I think son won’t do what he did last season again but I also think he won’t be as bad as this season again

Losing Kane and Son would be terrible (like when we lost berbatov and Keane) too much too quick

I’m not against selling him if Kane stays but if Kane goes , which seems likely , we need to give Son another year

Like others have said the tactics have stifled him this season as well as Perisic ….a new coach could get a bit of a spring back in him

I'd be happy if Son carried on after next season as a suber sub.

We're forgetting the horrendous injury that put him out of action for months. He has not been the same player since that time, coming back early with a face mask didn't help. But if we're now seeing a recovery of old form before the injury, then we keep him another year or two.
Its a big IF.

Stuart Attwell did an excellent refereeing job.
No, Brighton were not robbed. But they did boss the midfield better than us.
There is a case that they should have had a penalty for a foul in the area, but Attwell reviewed it and said not.
What I cannot understand, now that Conte is gone, is why Spurs insist on playing in their own penalty area. Receipe for disaster. The only players that seemed to try going forward with the ball were Son, Kulushevski, Kane, and sometimes Romero and Skipp. Perhaps Perisic some of the time. I remember Dier having one, exactly one, long ball forward the whole match, and it was to no one, nowhere, but a GK to Brighton.

I remember one, yes one, excellent forward move that resulted in the winning goal.........
Romero --> Son --> Hojbjerg --> Kane -->goal!
