DPL v Grimsby

I'll go with a 2-1 win for the Rovers (it is about time!) with Goodman scoring if he starts, or Rowe.

Cod knows! We've had our chips and are fighting for scraps now. Grimsby have been battered recently but I'm not sure we'll wrap this one up or take away much. 1 - 1, Cod Rowe to score.

Noteworthy are Nookie's bonus for the Northampton prediction and rather more point-scoring largely due to the predictable losses. Mickey retains his lead, but Nookie and Mooligan have gained on him over these last 5 matches.

It seems quite likely that the largest loudest and most enthusiastic contingent of spectators at the match today will be supporting Grimsby. Of the rest, their motives for turning out in the rain to see the match can only be guessed at. Some will be there to voice their discontent and perhaps a few might have felt that the improvement in endeavour in Kent might give hope.

I shall watch it on iFollow and see if they can build on Friday's display.

How typical of our manager to drop Seaman and Goodman. I suppose I’ll say Molyneux for the goal.

To be honest, I forgot about the game until my wife reminded me in time for me to watch the second half. I wish she hadn't!
I have not yet seen Barlow's goal which was supposed to be a good strike, but he spoilt his day by blasting over a chance at 1-1. Rowe also had a reasonable chance to make it 2-0, but otherwise we did not look like scoring and one sensed we would lose in added time.
I agree with Donaldo, why drop Goodman and Seaman.
I'm no fan of Grant McCann because of the way he departed, but I'd take him over the current coach/manager.

Hi Donaldo, thanks as always for doing the commentary and the numbers. I think you failed to carry forward 3 points forward for me in this sequence between the Northampton and Crewe games so should be on 62.

Sorry Crazy, it will show a total of 62 brought forward next time and I might well get on and do the Grimsby update later today as Schofield blunders on and the club support drifts away.
