Impression!
No creativity, dribbling into a cul-de-sac (relinquishing possession), inability to release ball quickly, over/underhitting passes, passing instead of shooting, shooting instead of passing, abject decision-making and shot selections (worse than Pulisic).
Tunnel vision to the extreme and no real influence in-out of possession on matches for a sustained period, in the final third.
Exhibit A: https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1644957512179888128/pu/vid/1280x720/6y8eTVPs59i7MI4K.mp4?tag=12
Is it that difficult to just play the 1-2 through to Gallagher here. Nope. Takes too many unnecessary touches.
Proceeds to take a potshot, when the better option presented itself.
Doesnt possess the capacity to knit the attack together.
I currently have no appetite to see him (along with a few others, namely Cucurella, Kepa) starting at the Bernabeu, an opponent that he's notoriously bad against. Drop him, see how he reacts off the bench.
Mendy
Fofana Silva Chalobah
Reece Kante Enzo Conor/Zak 🌶
Sterling Kai/Mudryk
Felix continues to do his best Pulisic...

I couldnt care less about Tuchel, I'd sack him ten times over for his heinous acts. Large part of the problem we're encountering now with his player acquisitions and neglecting perfectly capable players.
Anyone else find it suspicious he checked into rehab straight after being sacked? Perhaps the speculation was true.

Mount potentially being injured for the first leg is a kick in the guts. His output against them last season and the seaosn befor that was superb.

Nah, decent player. Not a 100mil pound player but at 60-70mil would be reasonable, I'd say 60 considering we were generous enough to give Atletico a 9mil down payment with no guarantee/buy option (that "good head" of Boehly's on full display there).
I'd be 50-50 on it for that price but I'm Boehly why not? You're marked as a clown for the foreseeable future now anyway so might as well try & spend your way out of it - the blind squirrel will catch a nut eventually

Foertunately Todd & co. appear to have a good head on their shoulders and I'm sure they wouldn't agree to Atletico' demands or splurge such an astronomical amount on Felix...particularly as Felix couldn't be tied down to a 7 year+ contract.

They were already dumb enough to pay a super high loan fee for half a season, without an option to buy.
