Has there been another team in the last 20-30 years of Premier League football that has been so comprehensively owned by another team more than Brighton have owned us this season?
60mil for Cucurella, 20mil+ for Potter & backroom team = two easy wins with an aggregate score of 6-2, 10 points clear (with games in hand), four places difference with a net gain of 10 places & about 30pts on last season.
Bloom might as well stick a leash on Boehly & tell him to dance, and Boehly will probably agree so long as he can pay him for the privilege

Crazy you could be dragged into a relegation battle

There is shame in it when you've (in theory) made them weaker by taking their manager & POTY from a greater starting position, and they've got significantly stronger than you as a result.

Someone will buy Ferguson, who’ll then not score any goals before disappearing into lower league obscurity

Nah, we don't deserve something as exciting as a relegation scrap this season. Too good for us
A bit more serious, thankfully I think Tuchel did just enough in the little time he was given to avoid that.
