LEEDS UTD V LIVERPOOL
======================================================

Here we go again and it's on to our Monday evening crucial home game against Liverpool.

It's fair to say both sets of fans have been scratching their heads at the unpredictable performances this season.
God knows what will happen but if we play like that last 2nd half we will get thumped. If Liverpool play like they played against Bournemouth then 3 points are there for the taking.
Weaknesses particularly in the full back positions are evident in both teams

Team news
Leeds
No fresh injury concerns that we're aware of. Has to be some changes all over the pitch with Rodrigo, Gnonto, Cooper and hopefully Wober all surely in contention to start. And dare I say Forshaw who has stayed fit for over a week now.
Liverpool
Have practically a full squad to pick from with the return of Diaz to the squad and Thiago fit again.

Since our return to the Premier league v Liverpool we have won 1, drew 1 and lost 3 including a very closely fought 6.0 defeat,
We achieved a rare victory at Anfield earlier this season and thought our season was finally taking off..pfffft
Worryingly it appears our fitness levels are such that we can only seemingly play for 45 minutes and is a dramatic decline from the days of you know who.

Our record of seven wins, eight draws and 15 defeats is exactly the same as after 30 premier League matches of last season. We took nine points from our final eight league games to finish 17th. History to repeat itself.

As chief optimist my prediction 2.1 Leeds, Rodrigo and Gnonto.

Over to you all for predictions and line ups and finally in the customary manner.

Come Onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds!!!

A couple of weeks back we were thinking 3 home games on the bounce, pick up a good points haul from them.
3 points out of 9 and a GD hit of -8

The manner of the defeats is the big worry. Defence cut to ribbons time after time

Very depressing evening once again

Thanks Earl, was hoping for something for the memory of Highland. Sadly we didn't get it.

Am sure players agents will be busy formulating exit plans.

I f@cking hope so. Sink or survive, I'll be glad to see the back of 'em. Orta has wasted an absolute fortune on a team of duds.

I'm off to bed... I can't believe it... another thrashing.
It looks really bad now and we must be favourites to be one of the 3 teams who go down because we are so easy to cut through and you feel it's only a matter of time before Everton and then Leicester overtake us.
I concede.... we look doomed!

Right, superstar Rutter, a quick hat-trick
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I watched Rutter and he did nothing! He just jogged about, never accelerated to try to win a ball or tackle a player for the ball. How the h*** did we pay £35 million for him?

Yep, as with most of our signings this season apart from Adams and Gnonto I cannot see what they bring to the table.

Bizarrely survival is still in our own hands.

However they way we are playing is scary. Sitting off teams and hoping to hit them on the break is madness when we are so slow to release the ball from the back.

We have to put pressure on the ball. Hard without Adams but somehow we have to do it.

Maybe Wober back and swap the midfield. Struijk in there? Greenwood? Anyone with a bit of pace and bite?

At the moment it seems every mistake is punished with a goal.
