Tbf, we'll likely be ditching James, Costa, Poveda aswell as losing Gnonto. Sini is injury prone too. Dallas im not so sure about.

Another under 21 for the future - what about now?

Have a funny feeling (assuming we even do sign this guy) that he's being lined up as a potential Gnonto replacement. Barca fans seem to rate him very highly.

Maybe this kid is good. However, if Orta spent the
same amount of energy, resources, and money on
adding:

A Prem level right back
A Prem level left back
A Prem level CB
A Prem level DM
A Prem level CM
A Prem level #10
A Prem level Striker
Or just build a Prem level defence

Then I'd be okay with getting yet another winger.

Well, all those ones we bought for the future in the last 5 years should be just about ready.....

Orta is obsessed with going for players with big resale value. Again, that job must be really difficult. Especially with us having been away for 17 years. But still.

Leeds is a project of its own. Every position on the pitch cannot also be a "project".

^^^^^

He's actually obsessed with going for players
who he believes have big resale value.

Big a difference. He's a scatter-gun merchant.
He hits big a few times (Raph & Gnonto). Then
he JKA's all over his shirt front, Rutters down
his pant leg, and we're looking as shaky again.

True! Should have said "big potential resale value"

No issue with an eye on the future
I also acknowledge that clubs service and build on profiting from young players.
But it feels like that's all we ever do. The objective isn't to improve the side, it's to sign some kid who we can then sell on. Then repeat
