Big weekend for the survival scrap...

Just had a look at this weekends games, and for some teams in the bottom half it could be a decisive couple of days.

First up are Southampton, who come to the Emirates tonight. Currently adrift at the bottom, by my calculations are they need 4 wins and a couple of draws to have a chance of staying up, from just 7 games.

Next is Leeds at mid table Fulham. Arguably the sort of game you would pick if you are desperate for points.

The real drama could be in the 3pms. After 3 wins from 3 Palace are all but safe. A win at home to Everton will surely secure the Eagles PL place while leaving Everton in the shiiiit. Everton will see it as a chance to put a gap between them and the bottom 3, and keep Palace in the fight.

Leicester, 2nd from bottom and 2 points off 17th, host fellow stragglers Wolves. Defeat for the home team could put them further adrift, while Wolves will feel safe on 37. Like the Palace/Everton game, a Leicester win will keep Wolves in the battle.

Forest have the tough task of going to Anfield, but survival battles are often won by teams winning at such fortresses.

On Sunday, ECL semi finalists West Ham meet Bournemouth. The winner will feel pretty safe.

Could be a pivotal weekend for some.

Could you tell me why is it tagged to Liverpool and Forest?

So what you’re saying is nothing will be settled this weekend.

No. Southampton lose and they will be down. Wolves and Palace win they will be safe. Bournemouth will be all but safe with a win.
A lot could get settled
