He has been playing for far too long with his back to goal. He is only good at exploiting space in behind a defence and shots around the edge of the18. Top quality finisher. But he definitely is on a downward trajectory. Levy will keep him though because of the commercial revenue he brings from Asia.

Yeah I agree, the whole midsight of the team is now backwards thinking. I'm not convinced he's done yet, but we need the right platform to build on, we can't have him chasing back and trying to hold the ball up against the odds.
Got to enjoy what he's done - agree on your assessment of him, I said the same to my manager recently (a geordie) world class finisher when given space but limited in so many areas.
