You'll have to bear with me on this as the spam filter isn't allowing me to post a longer post so will split it up into two with the second part in the replies.
Since Poch left I've mostly been indifferent about Spurs. I'm not even sure if it was his leaving as much as the fact that I never really got over the CL final defeat, and the subsequent breaking up of a team I was genuinely emotionally invested in, felt a love for, and who deserved so much better.
Since then I've tried to care like I used to but it just hasn't happened. Yesterday, however, really stirred the emotion in me like the old days and not in a good way. I was just angry, still am, I was angry for the fans that made the journey up, I was angry for the fact that this match wasn't a one off but a culmination of five terrible years of footballing decisions, and angry for the fact that those at the top won't care as long as the money keeps coming in and they continue to see profit.

The Managers Also Need to Take Blame?

That would be such a horrible outcome that I'm now convinced it's going to happen

Imagine seeing Kane and Pochettino both at Stamford Bridge in August
Facking hell, Spurs

Hopefully they will have a similar effect as to when we had Hoddle and Poyet lol

I can already see Kane leaving in August after months of speculation and us wasting the money leading up to the day he leaves.

The banter it will create when they actually win something with Chelsea as well.

That's quite an OP for your 'first' ever article.

I'll respond succinctly as an antidote to your rather lengthy post by saying "yes, they are to blame".
Everyone is to blame - owners, managers and players. You can't lump this entirely on the owners just as you're asking us not to blame the managers. Talk about double standards.
Each and every manager we've ever had has contributed to this downfall. Are you even looking at the detail in each of your points? Mourinho personally requested Doherty. He loved him, until he turned up and realised himself he couldn't play in a four.
It seems to me you're cherry picking to suit your narrative. There are plenty of signings the club has made that HAVE worked out but you're only listing the poor ones to support the idea that the ownership are solely to blame. Is Levy to blame for Conte not having improved a single player in the squad? No, just as he shouldn't get any credit for the high number of players that did improve under Poch.
What you're doing is writing a list of our failures and navigating a way to pin them all on Levy, which is absurd. He takes a huge slice of the blame, sure, but not all of it. The fact we did so well under Poch was evidence alone of the differences a manager CAN make so therefore the reverse can be true. Managers can see us regress AND progress. Neither of those are on the owner.
I think you need to accept that it's a collaborative system at Spurs and therefore blame lies in several areas. As the ultimate decision maker, Levy takes the heaviest portion of blame, but not all of it. It's irrational inaccurate.

Very fair points.

The way we appointed Nuno just highlighted what a joke Levy is.
