Had a great day yesterday. Was gutted to not get a ticket for the Carabao cup final so was good to be back at Wembley yesterday. Game wasn't the best obviously and we didn't play well with the ball at all but I was really impressed with our resilience and grit.
Atmosphere in and around the ground was good and incredibly tense too. I absolutely loathe penalty shootouts so I could barely watch at the end. Was certain we'd lose it as soon as ET finished. Even more so as we took off Bruno who is arguably our best pen taker. Don't think he could run much more though due to his knock.
Credit to the makeshift back defence too. They were excellent all game. Lindelof especially I thought was outstanding all day.
On to the final we go. We will be underdogs of course but that's fine with me. We've beaten City plenty of times over the last decade as underdogs. Hopefully we have Varane back and a fully fit and rested team for that game. Been a while since we went into a big game with more than 2 days rest. Schedule has been an absolute joke.

AWB was motm for me. He was fanstiastic.
He did have the luxury of Antony helping out track their fullback, unlike Dalot.
I’ve said it a few times but since the Newcastle game, sides are targeting our left side and overlapping their full backs in the knowledge Rashford won’t cut off the option. It’s a big problem for us.
I hope Rashford starts up front in the final.

What I'm stating is that his bad touch prevented a chance at goal and instead should have got him a second yellow. Fine margins!

yeah was a poor touch, he had a couple tbf where normally he'd take it and find the net.
Was almost as if their build up play was TOO intricate yesterday but utds defence marshalled them well

The refs inconsistency was laughable. Booking our players for deliberate fouls and not theirs.
