Where does he rank in the all time best PL midfielders list? We often have the Gerrard/Lampard/Scholes debate but for me KDB is a good as any of them (better than Lampard for sure).
Is he one of the very best the PL has ever seen? And who if anyone is better?

Some recency bias must be at play here. Some of the things midfielder like Yaya pulled off were just ridiculous. Made opponents look like children.

World class.
I also think there's more to his skill set than Pep's system allows him to demonstrate. His style of play in the Belgium team looks more dynamic
Also think Silva still beats him as City's best midfielder

Definitely amongst the best. The combo of him and Haaland are frightening, don't see City being touchable next season if they're both playing like this.

True! Although back then, De Bruyne was an attacking wide player, so it would have been both ideally!
