Kernow, I've thought for a while we were bound for
the Championship. If/when we drop, and the club go
for Benitez as manager, I'd be happy. He's solid.
He was looking for a project. We're that.

Big Sam's teamsheet v City
Robles
Ayling
Koch
Wober
Cooper
Struik
Rasmus
Firpo
Foreshaw
Rocca
Willy
A back 6 with 3 holding midfielders and just pump it up to Willy and hope for the best 😂

Not sure how “pump” and “Willy” got past admin in this post 🤣🤣🤣

Good observation there Stoopo 😂 I'm guessing because like me I genuinely wasn't trying to imply what looks obvious now you've pointed it out and so admin, a bit like Bamford, completely missed it....ouch, sorry I couldn't resist that. 😂

Really thought the Sam Allardyce thing was a joke or gallows humour at best. Just seen the papers!

Can’t believe we didn’t see big Sam as the obvious continuation of Bielsa’s football.

We dont have the right type of players who can play negative successfully. And now we are not hiring managers who can set a team up to be positive. Orta was right, we needed to stick with the style that kept us up, yes we might have lost most games but we would have won and drawn enough to stay safe. Lets now be positive in a different way, go down and rebuild with a long term plan. If Allardyce is meant to be the answer then the wrong question is being asked

This is the worst appointment in history.
What a disgrace. I've never been so embarrassed.
Glad Orta has gone. We really are doomed now. Would.have taken benitez over hopeless Sam.

Sam could easily fail, but he's not hopeless.look at
his record with Bolton.

That was long ago 52 but in all honesty it doesn't really matter who we get for four games.
It really is up to the players to show some desire.

I’m not bothered who takes over at this stage as long as we show some guts, desire and the will to win.
Does Sam fit the bill?
We’ve been spineless since we went 1-0 up against Palace. Something went seriously wrong in that half time break. We heard of players arguing. Maybe Big Sam can crack a couple of heads together and remind them what’s at stake.

If Big Sam can keep his Premier League points-per-game record going (which is 1.26 according to the Beeb), then we’re looking at another 5 points from our remaining games, giving us a total of 35 points. Whether that’ll be enough, we’ll have to see, but it would give us a fighting chance of survival.
