Is Pochettino REALLY tempted to go and try to fix that mess?
Thoughts?
Chelsea are far worse than Spurs.

Chelsea’s squad is infinitely better than ours.

The table suggests otherwise.

Lampard innit.

Be a brave man to say spurs finish above Chelsea next season. Sure Chelsea are a joke this year but I suspect plenty of that comes from their owner having no common sense, and flooding the squad with new players.
After a summer cull I've no doubt, even with a half decent manager, they will be up here again.
Loads of players to ship out for decent fees too.

Chelsea definitely have the potential to do another 2017 season, but the person that may hold them back there is Boehly.

Poch will know he will at least receive the funds at Chelsea and get backed to go for what players he wants. We just had it confirmed on Talksport by the former head of recruitment how much Levy interfered with signings. So yeah I can see why he'd choose Chelsea over working with that bald priick again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm still not convinced Poch to Chelsea is a done deal but that might be more wishful thinking than anything!
Whoever does go though, do you think they will get a lot of funds? They spent an awful lot this season. It feels like the new manager will be told to try and get this lot to work first. They'll have to shift players before they buy.

I hope Poch doesn't go to them. Whether whoever goes doesn't spend to begin with they ultimately will get more to spend at Chelsea than under Levy, that much is true. Boehly has already shown how much he is willing to spend even if it's been misplaced.

It seems like Levy doesn't want to work with Poch again.

I heard this. There was a time he did want him back, when he was linked to a return while at PSG, but maybe not now. Poch better off out of it.

Chelsea is a great project for Poch and the finance means he’ll have a far better chance of winning trophies - although it will come with a more immediate pressure, I suspect.

Nobody stays there that long tbf.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think that may change post Roman, if they see some early progress.
