Hope the rumours about Xhaka being sold are not true. He may be a divisive player for some fans but for me he is key. His experience and dressing room presence will be key to our younger players development next season

"He is what? How can someone who is the first of every managers starter list be the weakest in the first 11?"
Equally, how cam a player hand picked by the manager for a specific role be weakest???

"hand picked by the manager for a specific role".....that is Xhaka's role as well
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, Xhaka was already here before Arteta
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yup and he is playing under Arteta as well.

The whole discussion to bring in Xhaka is irrelevant to the discussion in the first place because you asked me who of the first 11 is the weakest player in my view.

You refused to allow people to call Xhaka the weakest because he is a starter, yet totally disregard that for your choice. The whole point is the above statement you made is idiotic and irrelevant. Every single starter is in the managers starters list, so by you reetarded thought process no starter can be the weakest

Basically Xhaka was a starter when we were finishing 8th. We have improved every position around him, except him...
That doesn't make him the weakest alone, but it certainly isn't a valid reason to exclude him from the discussion as you have tried to do.

I am not refusing anything. Only because you wanted me to call out Xhaka instead of Jesus this discussion began. So any comment from your side is unnecessary and silly.

No, I havent excluded him at all. I want total competition and that includes Xhaka's place as well.

2 things here...
We shouldn't necessarily assume the club want to sell Xhaka. Could simply be an agreement put in place when he signed his contract extension in 2021 that we'd allow him to leave a couple of years down the line, whilst he still had chance of one last big move.
On the flip side, if it is the club's decision to sell, the timing would make total sense. Xhaka turns 31 this year, still a starter for Switzerland, and is just coming off his best season for Arsenal.
If (some) people think this summer would be the perfect time to cash in on Balogun, then why wouldn't the same be true of Xhaka? His stock has probably never been higher.
I'd personally love him to stay next season, but as a squad player, rather than a regular starter. If he goes, I'll wish him all the best.
If we'd won the title this season, I can't think of an Arsenal player I'd have been happier for than Granit Xhaka.
