Its all bizarre this ritual of coronation with its medieval acts of super class in their best pomposity showing off to the rest of us, how exuberant and decadent is their life.

The same feeling watching Spurs players almost most on £35k + a week but can't be asked to put in a shift of 90mins a week?

That is missing from this team. Why we lost so badly at Newcastle is their hunger and desire outdone our bunch of prima donnas. Someone like Dier decided whether he should be bothered to play well or not?

It’s culture. Culture is king. Players like dier have failed so many times at spurs with no consequences. There is no desire to win, because if they lose, they will play the next game. There’s no expectation to win things at spurs because the hierarchy have convinced fans it’s impossible.

Until we get someone in that actually expects trophies and brings players that do not accept failure with such apathy, then nothing changes.

That’s why so many players go elsewhere to win trophies. They go to clubs where the culture tells them failure is not acceptable

Poch was happy to pose with those players when they signed new contracts. Tbf he sacked because he lost the dressing room and results went south.

When Poch gave his thumbs up for some of the transfers in his last few days, it has emerged now that Levy had vetoed the transfers even though the players in questions were at the club ready to sign. An ex-employee revealed these details.

Levy vetoed them because he was informed in some cases if he waited he could save money, and in other cases because Levy was offering way too little and the player just gave up on us!

If this is mess we are in, not of Levy's making then you are just totally in cloud cuckoo land.

Lloris is ruled out for the seas with a hip injury so I guess it’s farewell Hugo and thank you for being a top keeper mostly. I know he’s been poor in recently but wish him all the best.

Think Hugo may have played his last game for us.
