Todd did a short interview last week with Micheal Milken in the states.
The interview in my opinion very clearly illustrates how far off the ball Todd is with what he and his consortium is doing at Chelseafc.
Todd firstly declared he is going to work it out, which i assume is a brief admission that he recognizes that to date he/ they have massively fcked up.
Todd has explained that the international nature of EPL transfer market had surprised him? seriously? what does that even mean. I assume the in house transfer guru David Barnard would have been able to put him straight on the front. Seemingly not!
Todd also explained that they had a club in the best league in the world, situated in one the best cities in the world! Another meaning less statement.
Todd also explained that us the fans were demanding success, & rightly so?
What a fckn load of tosh!
From what i understand, all us the fans at Cfc are expecting is that our club is run competently, that we rationally transition from devastating effects of Roman losing ownership & we rebuild steadily,as we have done numerous times before whilst Roman owned the club & not fckn buy 600m quids worth of footballers and dump them on an inexperienced manager and expect him to manage a 35 man squad who were not gelled as team.
Then when the 'process' fkcs up, suggest that the supporters were demanding success , and this was the rationale for harry munking the moronic 600m outlay over two windows.
I really am concerned about Tods failure to properly understand the dynamic related to running such an enterprise as Cfc.
I personally would hope that he, his consortium & Mr Barnard fck right off & stay away from the footballing strategy, and bring the best footballing brains he can invest his dollars in before he backs the club into FFP nightmare which may take several seasons to recover from.
? i do actually question whether we may even be at that point and he will have taken the club back 20 years within the first 11 months of his tenure.
The one thing is certain, is that this is not going to reflect well on his investment portfolio reputation and he will feel the heat, it not a good look, and for him and his chums the look is everything, its built on trust and confidence.
At the moment he is looking like an over entitled wealthy ego maniac who is playing football manager/ owner what ever.
Something that Roman was for many years labelled as , which was far from the truth.
Lets face it, within the first year of Romans tenure Cfc benefited from the new bounce, solid squad purchases, semi final of the C/L, with Ranieri & the introduction of the special one.
Under Todd we have not experienced any of this, poor decision making, time and time again , the club has spent 600m on footballers , we have in excess of 400m footballers to move on , in difficult circumstances , much of which created by his decision making ? We do not have a manager, we do not have a cohesive squad, we do not have a nailed on striker, we have an owner who decided to sack all the footballing brains at the club because he felt as an investment banker and the owner of a couple of American footballing franchises he new better.
You could not write this stuff.!
He take is, the fans are demanding success ?
Total tosh & bllshi7
Todd Boehly?

I saw the interview, what struck me the most was the guy has zero idea, absolutely zero. The telling bit for me was when he talked about how they had to learn how the portuguese market worked, the Italian market, the German market - what was the lesson Todd, offer them all the money you have until they say yes, what was actually learnt.
I think you’ve been sold a pup of an owner who is going to very much destroy the work Roman did - obviously I am delighted, but I don’t think I am being unbalanced in this opinion based on what I saw

Thanks for your Spurs fan view of a "balanced" opinion.
The sheer hypocrisy upping Roman to make your argument
btw How is your owner faring these days?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Genuine question.
What does how well or badly Spurs’ owners are doing relate to Chelsea?

I think in summary our new owners should have been humble and wise enough to anticipate they had much to learn before arrogantly and naively splashing 600m, possibly but hopefully not all down the toilet, and making so many huge decisions in such a short space of time.
They needed to take a much longer and harder look at the landscape instead of kicking the feckin doors down and steaming in.

Totally agree with this Biggish. Chelsea being available to buy was not as a result of the Club being in decline, which would often be the reason that owner's might want to sell, so the current infrastructure wasn't something that obviously needed looking at, because as Gary Neville described it "Chelsea was a successful, well run Club" and the intelligent approach would have been to just tweak what wasn't working and leave the rest alone until you had fully had the opportunity to evaluate it's worth.

Gotta agree with this even though the comment was fine, Spurs fans wanting it both ways.
I know he's a wum but Sandy's recent approach on us sums it up. Spent two decades howling into the abyss about how our financial advantage made competition with us meaningless, then someone comes along who makes Abramovich look like a peasant & we go backwards - the narrative has to change sharpish
