Could it finally be the time for United to get their man?? With the Saints going down surely one of the stars of the league will be looking to move?
Over the past years Ward-Prowse was linked with a big money move to United but with the Saints unwilling to sell for anything but a very pretty penny and suitors being priced out it never came to pass…
But could the time finally be right and the stars about to align?? How do the fans feel about having the set piece specialist amoungst the ranks?
Ward-Prowse

The freekick we had at the edge of the box against Wolves today, it would be a goal if we signed him

Would it? How many free kicks has he scored this year? Don't be silly. You only remember the ones he scores. He doesn't have a 100% record in those situations. Not even a 10% record. If he did, there's an argument to be made

Who knows, but my point is our free kicks were awful, I’m giving up hope in those situation.
If you need stats then:
15.2% - James Ward-Prowse has scored with 15.2% of his free kick attempts in Premier League history. Since his first DFK attempt in November 2013, the average free kick conversion rate of all other PL players combined is just 5.6%

Most likely not. It was too close to the goal.

That's way higher than I'd have expected tbf. Lethal. Still wouldn't want us to sign him if we're serious about being a top team though

For me it would depend on the price. If he was relatively cheap, then we would have a solid midfielder who is especially good at set-pieces. And prob offer us more than what some certain squad members can and pretty sure has a good attitude.

We should not even play set pieces, we are that bad. I now wonder what good thing do we do as a midfield? Can someone say one good thing our midfield does?
You guys are jokers. 8 midfielders, 300 million total spent. Not one good thing with any consistency.

I need you guys to understand that we have a large, very expensive list of average on this team. We are so average not one player is leaving United to better place any league or team. From keeper, defence, midfield and attack.

Got to be one of the most overrated players in recent years, he’s average. Can take a good set piece though.

Well, if we finish 4th, then 16 teams would be better off with our team. If we finish 3rd, then 17 would be better off with our team.
Now, I am sick, sore and tired of watching our players fold if anything goes against us. It happens all too regularly. But I don't for one second thing JWP hitting a good set piece would improve things in the short, medium or long term. We need better
