Death threats

Apparently Bamford received death threats overnight.

Absolutely disgusting and unnecessary.

It's no secret I don't rate him whatsoever as a footballer, but this is inexcusable.

I think it's pretty clear what Don is saying.

Ar out of picture, 49ers wanted Bielsa back but only if relegated.

So, they trust him in Championship but not prem.

This is what happens when you get owners who know off all about football except for the couple of seasons they have seen from the sidelines.

I'm not convinced MB is the answer in the Prem .... for the reasons debated previously. Personally I'd want to move on and appoint someone else.

Would we really want MB ousted for a 2nd time? It'd happen eventually.

Just my take on it anyway.

I think Bielsa would be successful in Prem IF given the players.

My concern is that AR does not sell up if relegated, I understand that there is an option there.

Radz concerns me, though interesting to see what appeared to be a good natured chat between him and the team in the tunnel before kick off Saturday.... what was he doing in the tunnel anyway?

As for Bielsa ... i don't want to come across as not rating him, it's not that, nothing could be further actually. I just think even with better players, without variation of tactics, we get sussed again. High tempo and his style works .... for a while. Just my fear.

I don't believe for one instant that Bielsa would work for Radrizzani again. Full stop.

Macca, you raise some very interesting and detailed observations there.

This Bamford death-threat, along with the incident at the game where Howe got pushed in the chest, is symptomatic of the toxicity being generated at the club which triggers these extremists. There will be further incomprehensibly stupid decisions, more critical errors on and off the pitch, until Radrizzani fux off for good.

Sorry but you can’t link the club and it’s owners with the vile idiots who are giving out these death threats.

Since social media became so popular we have had a steady increase in armchair warriors who say things they wouldn’t dare say to your face. They are sad people who hide behind their keyboards and in many cases anonymity.

You only have to look at politics these days when you have the likes of Angela Rayner calling all Conservatives “Tory Scu# m”. These things are fuel to the fire and Twitter is full of those who follow her and her like’s lead.

The penalty needs to be much harder for those caught issuing these threats.

But doesn’t she have a point?

I don't think Bielsa returning to the club would be a good idea at all.

If he got us promoted again (assuming we go down in the first place) would he change his approach?

I very much doubt he would and next season would be yet another relegation battle.

It's like when you break-up with your partner. It's just never the same second time around. Especially when you dumped the person who made ten times better than you were.

In my view, scu#, as a word, has a very personal edge to it as an insult.
A professional person using that term against a professional body is therefore absolutely not appropriate. So to answer your question… no, she doesn’t have a point, and anyone using such terms in a professional environment should be taken to task by their employers. The fact she hasn’t been also says a lot.

No more of a point as I would have calling all Labour supporters lazy barstewards who hate Jews.

You see, your answer to my post shows how bitter and twisted some people are. If you are agreeing that all Conservatives are Tory sc£m then you are part of the problem not the solution.
