Best team in the division, should have come up automatically.

Very young group of players with Christy (19), Van Den Heuval (19), Mullen (18), Fergusson (18), Monteiro (18), Moore (19), Sutcliffe (19), Allen (19), Carole (18), Coleman (18), Gray (17), Gyabi (19), Spencer (19), Joseph (19), Perkins (19) and Thomas (18) all under 20.
A lot of the season, the squad were playing against teams peppered with senior pros.

Big shout out to Dani Van Den Heuval, came back from missing the early part of the season with a broken neck after his car accident. Pleased for the lad.

Difficult one, if we'd paid the proper amount for him and he'd slotted into the U21's as a prospect, you'd be excited for the future.
He has played 2 games at that level, probably trains more with the 1st team yet slots in and is MOTM in both games (probably, I saw neither game so can only go on what I read).
If he sticks around, I wonder whether that huge transfer fee will become less of an issue with a couple of seasons under his belt.

Rutter was dangerously explosive throughout but I wouldn’t say he was motm. When he gets the ball and turns past defenders he looks good. Good movement around the box also gave him space to have a few efforts on the night but his weakness is plain to see - loses the ball loads. Until he learns to keep hold of the ball he is useless for the club.

Joseph looked the more complete player of the two last night. Less explosive but he is intelligent, keeps the ball better and tracks back defensively.

Impressed with Monteiro who only made 1 mistake of note all night and was in control at the back.

Gray is looking good. Makes great forward runs into areas and times them well. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the first team pitch from time to time if we get relegated.

Gyabi not overly impressed for £5m and telling that he’s not been on the first team pitch for 4 different managers. Dosnt look mobile enough. Time to kick on still.

That was a near £50m squad out there last night for Leeds United. £40m Rutter and Gyabi and would imagine a few millions spent on jospeh/Perkins/McGurk/allen etc
