With Newcastle winning and United only needing one more win, we're going to be playing Ropey League football.
Such a massive fall from grace from last season. Klopp and his squad need to take a long hard look at themselves, letting this happen.
We're going to now find it nigh on impossible to attract personnel of the highest calibre, especially as we don't like to pay top dollar in terms of wages.
Ropey League it is then...

Would you rather be in the Europa, with a much better chance of winning it, or C.League, which while more prestigious, is much harder to win?
Especially given your clubs form this season, and the news that four top players are leaving.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
CL obvs. No top class player wants to play in the Channel 5 Cup. They want to be dining at the top table. That's why we lost Owen and Torres in the past and nearly lost Gerrard
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ch 5 cup? Isn't it on Sky/BT?
I guess it's a bit like choosing between finishing mid table in the Prem, or topping the table in the Championship.

Owen left in summer of 2004, when we had Champions League football the following season (in fact we went on to win it the following season) and would have CL football for each of the next 5 seasons.
Gerrard was closest to leaving in the summer of 05 when we had just won the CL, qualified for it the next season and woild continue to qualify.
You are literally just making up nonsense now.

Exactly. Who in their right mind chooses the Championship over the PL? Klopp and ths squad have let us all down this season by not getting top 4. Can't imagine we're goong to be top of the list for prospective signings.

Next season ruined now as well. Thursday and Sunday is the worst schedule. Thanks Klopp, FSG, Salah and the rest.

Great comeback there. Madness that Klopp has made us regress so much in just 1 year.

Yeah it's not been a great season, but we've had a good few seasons recently and I think we'll be back up there challenging next season.
