To be fair since he left City we have fallen apart, we couldn’t win a raffle let alone the prem league, champs league or FA cup. Pep really does need to wake up and bring him back before it’s too late.

This signing could enable us to do multiple tactical formations.

a) It will allow Arteta to use a DM in the middle, with Zinny and Cancelo either side. That means Partey/Rice will not have to run as much. Partey has been exhausted for the last month.

b) Cancelo is also faster than White.

c) And White can then be freed to partner or spell Saliba.

d) Or if Arteta wants a more compact counter-attack formation, he can replace Zinny with Tomiyasu at LB, and play Zinny in CM with Partey/Rice.

No-brainer if City agree to it.
