Some Arsenal players are already on holiday in their mind. Because when you're playing for something, that's when you have a drive and goal, but these players know they lost the title. Arteta could have easily sent them on early holiday after the Brighton loss for the likes of Gabriel, Saka, G.Jesus, White, Partey, Ramsdale, and other key players. So they could come back early and prepare for next season.
Arsenal deserves credit for pushing Man City all the way this season. Even though they don't have the financial capacity to compete with them, they tried all they could for Man City not to claim the title as early as possible.
In a way, you have to be perfect to stop Man City. When Arsenal faced key injuries, they struggled as the replacement were not simply good enough. On the other hand, Man City has two teams that can compete for the title.
Arsenal finished outside the top four last season, but they're finishing 2nd comfortably this season. Arsenal lost the title because of two reasons lack of squad depth and experience.
If Kroenke can support Arteta with the funds he needs for next season, then the squad could be better than this season.
Giving other squad players some minutes

It's more the issue with sending players on early leave from the OP "Arteta could have easily sent them on early holiday after the Brighton loss for the likes of Gabriel, Saka, G.Jesus, White, Partey, Ramsdale, and other key players."
Squad rotation is different through, that's been one of our biggest struggles under Arteta. Not just simply having a squad lacking quality in depth but giving the quality there is/was enough play time to mean they could come into the side without the dynamic being damaged too much

Yeah, the sending them on holiday early doesn't make much sense. They all have international duty anyway, and then a fair old holiday after that.

Yesterday was a decent chance to play Reuell Walters at right back and give Cozy-Dubz at least a run out from the bench.
Playing Kiwoir and Partey at full back was strange when you have Walters and Tierney available.
It was also a good chance to play ESR ahead of Xhaka - especially as the latter will surely get a sentimental game next week before his departure.
As for Arsenal getting in trouble for making changes - did Brighton for making 6 changes? Did Man City for making 7 changes? If you watched our performance against Brighton you could easily argue 6 changes were fair.

If the players are in your 25 man squad registered with the PL then there is not a damn thing they can do about it - you aren’t breaking any rules. It’s just the same as post European matches

They were pathetic against both Brighton and Forest. You morphed into Spurs the last few games.
Sorry I couldn’t think of a better insult 😏

Losing the league with 3 games to spare isn’t pushing them all the way. You should be disgusted with that capitulation not praising it
Shambles

Disgusted? I am proud of them for the fight they've shown this season. Yes, the squad couldn't retain it in the end because of experience and physical exhaustion as the bench couldn't provide the support needed if we rotated. However, the hurt could drive them next season to do better if these players have huge hunger. Arteta will certainly try to improve them.

So you suggest dropping 6 first team players, plus more, for the last few games of the season?
That would put your whole club under investigation, I’m pretty sure.

Never considered that. Thanks for that. 😆
However, Man City has made quite lots of changes and put number of key players on the bench today. Surely, you're allowed to rest some players without being considered under investigation.

Yep. The end
----------------------------------------------------------------------
*Sorry just realised that might seem like I'm agreeing with the OP
Agreeing that clubs would rightfully get investigated if they dropped half their first team for no good reason. There's still a lot to play for for several sides regardless of whether our season is over
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha, although now you’ve raised it, I see what you mean, I didn’t ingest it that way

I did think that, but the OP is more suggesting you send the lot on a sabbatical, just weeks before they get 5 weeks off.
