Why are you not getting Pochettino back ?
Seriously, I don’t understand it. As a Gooner I have to admit through gritted teeth that you played some very good football under him - but fortunately Levy kept the purse strings tightly closed & it all disintegrated to nothing.
I thought Levy was bound to see the error of his ways & Pochettino wanted to come back but thank goodness that Levy has maintained his form & is still rejecting him.
Daniel Levy definitely needs to stay in charge, it is a joy to watch him steer you $puds on to the rocks & I am 🤞 that he can retain this level of judgement ! 😎
Daniel Levy IN !

Ah Inspector Clueless making a complete mug of himself again!
Are you really so thick?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s obvious who you are, the evidence is overwhelming now and it’s boring. I wouldn’t mind if the posters were really different, a bit funny or didn’t just say the same thing as each other. But both personas never talk about the side they claim to support and instead only exist to put down Spurs - definitely not an inferiority complex though.
It’s got to stop, it’s ridiculous - Admin please can you sort this out

Yes Admin. Put this mug out of his deluded misery please! It's getting tiresome now.
No idea who Maf is? But he sure lives rent free in North London 😆

Unfortunately, Levy works under presumptions that he know more than anyone, and as such he has decided, in his executive suit, that he cannot rehire managers....Though with Mason, he kind of done it?
I am happy for her just to move on and get someone new with fresh ideas and who has the same approach Poch took, with a long term view rather than short term success. Don't get me wrong, if we win anything now I am ecstatic.
For, De Zerbi is highly rated but as with Spurs fans. I am kind of done for now with Italian managers so instead getting slot would be my first choice.
I did hear that bringing in Slot, could persuade Kane to stay but I think some of that is just made up fake news.

Who says Poch was dying to come back?
From memory, it was an acrimonious ordeal for both parties, that was drawn out just long enough to recruit his replacement and kick him out halfway through a season.

It was a messy affair and Poch literally thrown out, with orders to leave by the morning.
Levy having gone behind his back to organise JM turning up literally the next day. This whole mess is that nincampoop chairman's fault.

I think, assuming Slot goes through, most Spurs fans are happy to see someone come in with a similar promise and mould to Pochettino in 2014. It sweetens the bitter pill of us not getting Poch back.
If I'm honest, I think the reason Levy doesn't want Poch back (and I don't think it's just Donna Cullen), is because Poch has already lifted the curtain on the way the club operates. He knows we don't keep budgetary promises so bringing someone back that knows how operate has to mean a change of approach in the way you operate. Why bring someone back you didn't back before, only to do the same again. Bringing him back means he'd HAVE to be backed.
Ignoring Poch and going for Slot, comes with it a freshness and a total lack of battle scars. Slot will only learn of the pitfalls once he's tied down to a contract.
It's like a domestic abuser moving on to different girls because they don't yet know the horrors they're about to face. It's a more attractive proposition to him.
I'm not saying Poch is preferable to Slot, just that the reasons for going this route reaffirms Levy's financial approach. It's a confirmation he won't be changing for anyone.

At least now he has appointed a manager who will try to work within those boundaries. Appointing Jose and Conte and not giving them what they need was plain stupidity. Slot won’t want £50m players, he will want some funds and then he will also be happy to work with what he has.

Yep, Levy wants somebody from afar that does not know how he operates, the false promises, the going back on his word, the lack of sporting ambition, the profit first approach etc.
Poch already has that T-Shirt and would know exactly what to expect second time around. It is a lot easier for Levy to pull the wool over the eyes of a fairly inexperienced coach from abroad.
