Minutes played/games started would’ve been better to compare

Nah, he hadn't scored for facking ages before the world cup, his awfulness cost us points.

I can see you aren’t his big fan, but Jesus is an excellent by Mikel no doubt about it.

An excellent acquisition he might be, but he's not a prolific striker. That's something we need to look at this summer.

Totally agree

From memory only Dias has really been out for some time for City during the start of the season.

Mainly had a fully fit squad which is why they were able to rest KDB for quite a few games.

The things go hand in hand though, if you have players the manager trusts to rotate in then you're less likely to get injuries in a busy season. We didn't have players Arteta trusted, aside from perhaps the backline which was ironically what got decimated in one horrible match.

So in 34 minutes of football Haaland has broken the premier league scoring record?

Amazing.

Number of minutes would actually be a better stat than number of games. Given there's 5 subs now, you can make far better use of the squad to rotate and keep players fresh.

If you play 60 minutes for all 38 games then you can have a big impact despite only playing about 25 games worth of football.

I think it's more a case that the players are mentally drained rather than physically facked. Like last season, we've had a lot of high energy, high intensity and highly emotional games.
