Getting loads of noise now
Celtic - will he turn us down like everyone else?
Spurs - scale of 1-10, how happy are we
I am going 6 because it’s not Brenton or Wizard

Pretty certain chelsea will get it right eventually. They will continue to buy and will be successful before us. Watch us go all summer renewing rubbish like Dier new contracts and end up with virtually the same defence. An absolute shambles.

I have never heard so many negative comments on here from so called Spurs supporters, it would also be my guess that most I not all of you have either A) Never been in the new stadium B) Never had a season ticket for Spurs.🤔
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why does you have a season ticket make you a better supporter and can voice an opinion? For the record I don’t have a season ticket but have been to the new Tottenham stadium 7/8 times. Won’t bother stepping foot in there again or buy any merchandise until i see major change with the how this club are run. You and Sandy (coincidentally the 2 oldies on here) seem obsessed with telling us how we should be grateful with the owners. There is literally zero balance to your opinion. You constantly defend the chairman and owners it’s mind bending
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please show me when I have said we should be grateful to the owners??
For the record I have hated the football we played under Mourhino & Conte, however no club has a divine right to win trophies……..except of course you are City and funded by an Arab State!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A club of our size and stature especially with the ticket prices the club charge ( most expensive in Europe) should be winning more than 1 league cup in 23 years mate. The failure on the pitch and lack of proper spending + decent recruitment is unforgivable
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then why does the blame lay with Levy, we paid people like Mourinho & Conte over £15m a year to train and coach the team, surely the large part of the blame should lie with them for failing in their jobs.
I was in Mauritius in November 2019 when I saw the news Poch had been sacked and Mourinho appointed. I had just come off the Heritage Awali Golf course and pleased with my round. Seeing the news completely deflated me, I thought it was a horrendous appointment and almost certainly not going to end well. Mourinho & Conte are very similar in certain areas, the both play very defensive formations and when things don’t go right for them they throw their toys out of their respective prams.
I just want to see us play decent attacking football, which is what I always want us to play. Neither of these two understand or cared about the ethos and history of our club.
I don’t care who we appoint as long as they look to play on the front foot from the first whistle. 🤔👍

It can’t be all about spending surely, the funds have been provided, it is then down to the Coach and the Director of Football to sign the right players. This was Conte & Paratici respectively.
The list below is the PL net table since Conte took over, it does not include the 3 teams relegated last season.
20. Brighton – £69.16million (profit)
19. Manchester City – £42.84million (profit)
18. Leicester City – £30.58million (profit)
17. Everton – £9.05million (profit)
16. Leeds United – £37.7million
15. Brentford – £43.09million
14. Fulham – £43.86million
13. Crystal Palace – £47.79million
12. Aston Villa – £68.22million
11. Bournemouth – £81.09million
10. Liverpool – £88.04million
9. Wolves – £107.45million
8. Southampton – £121.93million
7. Arsenal – £151.88million
6. West Ham – £154.17million
5. Tottenham – £154.92million
4. Nottingham Forest – £163.17million
3. Manchester United – £198.66million
2. Newcastle – £254.8million
1. Chelsea – £482.64million
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Genius, you are missing the big point. Spurs needed to shore up that poor defence with quality and the only CB Levy got was Lenglet on loan. A bang average loan that has done nothing to rectify our defence. Why not splash 120 on 2 outstanding CB’s and we might have had a fantastic chance of CL and probably a trophy this season. The bare minimum with Daniel Levy is all he provides every single window. Why are you so blinkered and blinded by what has been happening for years? The lack of success keeps proving it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Me missing the point? 🤣
It was Paratici & Conte who brought Lenglet in on loan because the playing side was their responsibility. They are the ones who decided we did not need further defenders, or at the very least failed to identify and sign such players. It might be that we enquired about players like Bastoni and were told they were not for sale.
Levy does not have physical hands on on the day to day training or scouting. These report into Conte & Paratici and decisions are either made or not as the case maybe.
It would be physically impossible for Levy to have knowledge of every detail concerning player recruitment, he has a myriad of other responsibilities as Chairman, he has other Directors including Paratici, and now Munn who will handle day to day stuff. Including best practice both on and off the pitch. He has worked for the CityGroup for a number of years.
I agree with Billy that Levy has been woeful in the selection of certain managers over the years, which is why Paratici was our first Managing Director of football, which removed Levy from most of the playing/recruitment side of the businessp
Hopefully that will continue now that Munn has replaced Paratici and also we have a Director of Football Administration and Governance. Rebecca Capelhorn will oversee contractual matters and has previously worked for QPR.
Daniel Levy: "Scott has a unique and broad experience of running sporting organisations at the highest level and will take responsibility for the leadership and management of our football activities to instil best practice both on and off the pitch."

Re Munn, he will not be the DOF as this will be announced at some point. He will work closely with Munn to ensure that we move forward as a club.

No it was Daniel Levy he gave the go ahead to get Lenglet on loan. He always has the final say. Zero to do with Conte who wanted Bastoni. Same with Jose who wanted Skriniar but instead got Joe Roden. Levy didn’t provide a good enough defence this season and we have struggled because of it.
