Finally happened...Bodger The Todger

Brendan Rodgers just got a team relegated ffs. Why on earth are people trying to make it sound acceptable? At a time when we are in relegation form, some would be happy with a manager that had literally just got a team with similar set of players, relegated.

Absolutely mental how far the ambition of the once feast Tottenham Hotspur has fallen.

Disgrace.

Rodgers lost Fofana and Schmeichel to Chelsea and Nice respectively, plus Maddison missed 10 PL games, Vardy is no longer the player who terrorised defences with his pace, at 36 he is no longer a key goalscorer for Leicester. I think he has only scored 3 PL goals so far this season, only converting 1 in 14 chances😵‍💫
Schmeichel was an excellent keeper and captain and I think they miss him more than they care to admit
Tielemans missed most of April with torn ankle ligaments.

So with several key players missing or sold, it has had a direct impact on Leicester’s season and has hampered Rodgers ability to haul them up the table. I think most managers would have struggled under these circumstances to be honest.
Plus he did lead them to an FA Cup win, did he not🤔😇 and also what is now the English Super Cup (was the Charity Shield)plus 7 Scottish trophies.He also guided Liverpool to runner up oin the PL and became only the 2nd Manager to be Manager of the Year in both Scotland and England, the other person was Sir Alex Ferguson.

Jonny Evans also missing almost the entire season was arguably as big a loss as anyone. His experience at the back was something they couldn’t replace. Having said that, from following Foxes fan posts on here (my missus is from there), BR also consistently made some baffling tactical and team selections, which were leaving many looking for him to be binned WAY before he was.
