"Tottenham set to step up interest in Ange Postecoglou after Saturday’s Scottish Cup final. Australian said to have impressed Levy and has an admirer in Scott Munn."
Ever since Scott Munn was appointed, big Ange was always a possibility due to their time in Australia. Ange is on a one year rolling contract so you would think their would be no complications like Slot.
Thoughts? (and rage of course)
Pretty sure Celtic fans weren't exactly pulling cart wheels before he arrived and now they love him. Long way to go with Levy of course.

Was far from impressed with our club for a number of reasons.
Firstly whooring ourselves throughout the entire summer trying to get Howe and his back room staff who said quite openly they didn’t want to move to Scotland. Can’t see much of an upside in Newcastle mind you.
Should have given him a time ultimatum and moved on far more quickly. We are a bigger club than that.
Instead we were dragged right to the last minute with the hardly unexpected news that Howe (shock, horror) wasn’t signing and within a space of a few days we had this Australian guy who hardly anyone had heard of. And that right after the debacle of Lennon.
What were we meant to think? His first few games were far from impressive results wise but within 2-3 games you could see exactly what he was trying to achieve, and fwck me it was enjoyable to watch.
New year window and his knowledge shone through with astute signings and again with players we’d hardly heard of. Since then he’s done nothing but improve the style of football and the results.
As for Europe; again far better to watch since the days of O’Neil. We could and should have put more points on the board and yes that’s a case of “if my auntie had baws”.
Great man manager and really binds the club with the support. I’ll be delighted if Spurs turn their nose up at him. Undoubtedly he’ll end up at a “bigger” home than ours and in the not too distant future. He’ll deserve it.
Spurs loss as far as I’m concerned. Please overlook him for at least another season as I and many thousands of others love what he brings to us.

All Spurs fans?
Majority of Spurs fans?
The minority bangers on social media gambling that it wouldn't work so they could say told you so?
Anyone on JA? In your head?

Touche but I never made any claims, only the rag did that. As Ginger says, anything that scuppers the move is welcome.

Levy has finally lost the plot even thinking of hiring this guy . FFS Steven Gerard won the Scottish PL it’s not that hard .guarantee if he hire him he will be gone in 4 months l

Postecoglou has a whiff of the Nuno`s about him, he is way down the list of rumoured managerial targets and more of an afterthought. Add to that he is unproven outside of Australia and the Mickey Mouse SPL, questions should be asked why at 57 years old he has yet to land a big job in a big league.
He would be an underwhelming appointment and way down my list, but somebody has to take the job. I would rather any of Rodgers, Potter, Nagelsman, Amorim tbh

If anyone was to take the Job now I’d want Potter , I don’t even care about him being another Chelsea ex boss . He didn’t get a fair crack at the whip imo.

I hope you get a reject like Potter or Rogers tbh.........Ange is his own man, certainly not a yes man and if he speaks to Levy but is not happy with what he's told he'll turn it down. Impossible to say how this will pan out atm

the "why's it taken him so long to get a big job" rhetoric is so strange. how long do people think it should have taken him to go from being the assistant manager at Semi-Professional South Melbourne to managing in the PL?
can't all be products of nepotism like lampard
