A player running down his contract for a “big move”, who hasn’t put in a shift (or risked injury) in ages. Of course his massive drop off in performance levels might well have scuppered the sort of move, and wages, he had in mind. Time will tell.

Drastically underperformed for Two Seasons while refusing to sign a new Contract yet got played almost every minute available and even made Captain FFS.

You reap what you sow and Leicester City certainly did that.

I don’t remember that but in his prime for us he was a rolls Royce of a midfielder and could have gone to a top club.

Sadly Dave The Jackal has it spot on and he was barely a Robin reliant by the time he left.
