Presumably Spurs have a relatively low wage bill, and a decent marketing dept.

because, with all due respect, I can't imagine your global reach is any stronger than most other mid-range PL clubs.

Actually we are massive in the far east especially South Korea plus Malaysia and Indonesia. Why the latter two I don’t know, but obviously having South Korea’s Captain and star player has been an enormous asset.👍

Spurs wage bill in season 21/22 was £209m, Arsenal’s was £206m, United £384m, City £354m, Liverpool £366m. Chelsea figures for 21/22 not available but in 20/21 it was £333m, and you could probably add another £50m at least for the following season to Chelsea’s figures.

Plus if we sign Kyoto from Celtic, then our profile in Japan will also be big👍

So we make that sort of profit but won’t spend £60 mill on a decent centre back . Blows my mind
